My name is Alaura, and I am a Chicago-based photographer with a love of art, storytelling, and old-school glamour. I love history, and thrive when capturing love against nature and beautiful architecture!

I blend fine art and photojournalism to capture gorgeous portraits and special moments with timeless imagery. I want your overall experience to be just as fun as the final photo delivery, so I emphasize organization, preparation, and a friendly approach.     Great Choice!

    Alaura Creative was the perfect choice for our wedding photography. From our first interaction, their communication was clear and they were a pleasure to work with. The quality of their work was amazing - the photos they captured were fabulous and so much fun. We are not big on having our pictures taken, but Alaura Creative really got us to pose in a way that made for incredible, unique shots. We are certain that no one else could have captured our day the way Alaura did. She is truly amazing and worth every penny. After talking to a few other photographers, Alaura Creative stood out as the clear choice, and we are so glad we went with them.

    One of the best decisions for our wedding!

    Alaura was so easy to work with from day one. She is extremely responsive and understood our vision. When we got the final photos back we were so excited because they captured everything we wanted and more. She was also very organized and ready to go on the day of the wedding! Highly recommend Alaura and we hope to use her in the future for more of our milestones in life.

    just fabulous

    Working with Alaura was nothing short of perfect! Our pictures turned out better than we could have ever hoped for.     ALAURA IS THE BEST!

    Wow! Truly can't say enough great things about working with Alaura for our wedding. Alaura did our engagement and wedding, along with my boudoir shoot and she absolutely killed it! We are obsessed with her super romanticized style and she totally captured our moody wedding vibes. She was amazing to work with and always made us feel super comfortable in front of the camera and did a great job coaching us in poses. 10/10 would recommend Alaura for all your wedding photo needs! :)

    Amazing One Year Anniversary Photos!

    Alaura was the BEST photographer we could have asked for! We needed someone who was willing to photograph our somewhat unique one-year wedding anniversary Whirlyball party, as we wanted action shots and portraits with friends. She helped organize our schedule to get the best possible shots outside and inside the event space and we couldn't be happier with the final results! Highly recommend her for any event you're hosting!
