We're Adam and MaryBeth Kennedy and together we make up the crew behind AKP. With over 15 years of experience photographing weddings, newborns, family portraits and everything in between, we’ve truly seen it all. Whether you're saying "I do" in a backyard, a lake country resort, or somewhere totally unexpected—we're here for all of it. We love what we do, and we’d love to do it for you.
Our years behind the camera have taught us how to anticipate meaningful moments & read the room during high-energy or emotional parts of the day and adapt quickly to whatever curveballs might come your way. We've refined our craft over hundreds of weddings and thousands of hours spent behind the lens. Our approach is elevated documentary/editorial—rooted in real moments, natural connection, and just enough direction to help you feel confident without ever feeling overly posed. From the beginning of our wedding planning my husband and I both agreed that photography was very important to us. We had our first meeting with Adam and MB and knew right away we had found our match. Not only are they incredibly talented but they are also so kind and brought so much ease and fun to our day. We received numerous compliments from our wedding party and guests. You can tell they love what they do and genuinely care about the couples they work with, this isn't just a "job" to them. We truly had the best wedding day; we laughed, we cried and now we have amazing photos of it all. 10/10 Highly recommend Adam Kennedy Photography.

The best and most fun team!
Adam and MB are both incredibly warm and fun people to work with! I was a bridesmaid in a wedding that they photographed years ago and immediately knew I wanted to book them for my own wedding (in 2025)! You will spend so much time with your photographers throughout your wedding day and the two of them constantly kept us laughing and made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera. Our photos came out stunning and they did such a great job capturing our day and all of the special little moments. We would absolutely recommend them!!

Too bad I only plan to get married this once!
Adam Kennedy (and MaryBeth) were incredible. We selected them because they had experience in the area of our venue, had great reference pictures and ultimately we felt very comfortable with them. In the end, they felt part of the family - we wouldn't want the wedding without them!

Fantastic People - Stunning photos!
Adam Kennedy Photography was the perfect choice for our wedding photography. From our first meeting we felt taken care of and saw the attention to detail in their process. Communication with them was always prompt, personable, and thoughtful! When it comes to the photos....the quality of their work is stunning - artful, gorgeous, and timeless photos captured a magical feel on our wedding day. While they were taking our portraits they made us feel relaxed and comfortable, and I think we both took better photos because we were having fun. They even had a go-bag with them anything you could think of that you might need, like a sewing kit and makeup wipes to deal with little blemishes to get the perfect photos. We couldn't be happier with the memories they've created for us, and would highly recommend Adam Kennedy Photography to anyone looking for an exceptional photography experience.

The Best of the Best.
Adam and MB are the absolute best. They photographed our fall wedding 2024 at the St Paul College Club, as well as an engagement photo session the summer in Minneapolis. They are transparent about pricing, and very generous with their time and attention to detail. All of our photographs are amazing. I’m not one for family photo sessions, etc. But Adam and MB are so fantastic that I plan to work with them in the future - just to keep them in our lives. We would give them 6 (or a hundred) stars if we could.
