Working with Abner and his photography team was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. From the beginning, it was clear that Abner isn’t just a wedding photographer… he’s a true creative director. He comes to every shoot with great ideas for composed and posed shots, but what really impressed us was how he thinks on the fly. Abner has an incredible ability to adapt to the environment and capture amazing moments as things unfold. Whether it was incorporating the architecture of the venue, the lighting at a particular moment, or small changes happening around us, he always seemed to find ways to turn those into beautiful wedding photos that felt natural and authentic. One thing we really appreciated was how much time he invested before the actual wedding photography even began. Even though Abner had shot at the St. Regis many times before, he still wanted to meet with us ahead of the events and do a full walkthrough of the spaces. That really stuck with us. It showed how intentional he is about his work. Those conversations helped him understand what mattered most to us so he could curate and capture memories that reflected not just our personalities, but also the energy of each event and the priorities we had for the day. Abner also spent time getting to know what we were looking for stylistically and helped think through how different parts of the day could translate into great photos. He coordinated directly with our separate wedding videography team so everything worked seamlessly together… and did all of that without needing anything from us. Another thing worth mentioning is how well the team worked under real wedding-day constraints. We had a long list of family photos and group shots with friends, and they handled it incredibly smoothly. They were organized, efficient, and kept everything moving while still making people feel relaxed and taken care of. He also comes with a robust wedding photography team, and every single person was superb. You can tell they’ve worked together a lot because everything ran smoothly and everyone knew exactly how to support each other to capture the best moments. And just as important as the talent… working with Abner, Jen, and the entire team was genuinely fun. Every shoot felt relaxed and natural. Instead of feeling like a formal photoshoot, it honestly felt like we were hanging out with friends who just happened to be incredibly talented wedding photographers capturing the day. Abner is also a master of that loose editorial photography style that so many couples love right now… where things feel elevated and beautifully composed, but still effortless and natural. If you’re looking for a creative wedding photographer who can direct incredible shots while also capturing authentic moments as they happen, Abner and his team are truly exceptional. We’re incredibly grateful they documented our wedding. This isnt photography... this is art

So much more than a photographer
Abner and Jenny are so much more than photographers. Abner was the first vendor I hired for my wedding and we were in contact for the entire year and a half of planning leading up to the wedding. Not only was he there for us for our engagement session, rehersal events and wedding, he was also there with us for my husbands tux fitting, my dress fittings etc. Abner is a true visionary and quickly became the creative director of our event in addition to his role as the photographer. I’ve never met someone with more talent, vision, and better taste than Abner. The wedding is over , however I know our journey with Abner is just beginning. Hire him and you won’t regret it
