My only job is to make sure that you both have a wonderful ceremony that feels right to you. It should be memorable for the right reasons, have some laughter, a little bit of romance, and show your love for each other. I have packages that will capture your personal love story and your ceremony will definitely Not be long and boring! I just married my 677th couple since 2016. The process is easy and stress free for you. As a former wedding planner, your ceremony should flow smoothly and I will help you feel calm and actually enjoy your ceremony!

I'm known for taking really good care of my couples! My vibe is kind of like your cool Auntie Heidi that happens to be a professional writer, speaker, actor and loves every animal she's ever seen. I love to wear formal gowns (mother of the bride type gowns) at the weddings. I'm here to make the process and your ceremony stress free, and fun. If you are worried about something, call me, text me, let's video chat! I promise, I'm there for both of you on your wedding day! We're going to have fun and my goal is for your family and friends to tell you how awesome your ceremony was! ;)

This ceremony is for us to create something that fits the two of you and feels authentic. We create it together. I will write your Love Story and share it with you and your guests on your wedding day. I will help you with your vows and I'm there throughout the process to answer any and all questions. I'm also there on the wedding day to help you have fun and not be stressed. My job is to make this ceremony and your day awesome!

Simple and Sweet Ceremony

Description

This package is for a very simple and short ceremony. It has some personalizations. This is a good fit for an elopement or a ceremony of 50 guests or less. Your personal Love Story can be added for an additional fee.

A special uniqueness
Just like most wedding decisions, there are so many choices to choose from. When the decision is something as important and intimate as who is going to be the person officiating your wedding ceremony, it's important to feel like you made the right choice. From our first phone call with Heidi she was very personable, caring and passionate. She answered all of our questions and explained what sets her apart from other officiants. We knew Love Story Vows was for us. Heidi has such a charming demeanor that made us feel so comfortable around her. She created a personal bond with us before the wedding over phone calls, messages, and even a coffee date where we got to meet her amazing Pomeranian, Pilot. We also decided to book Alan, Love Story Photography for our Wedding photographer. Alan and Heidi were an amazing experienced team on our big day, which made everything run perfectly!

We love our Aunt Heidi
We truly cannot say enough wonderful things about Heidi. From the very beginning, she created a ceremony that was deeply personal, meaningful, and completely tailored to us. Every part of it felt intentional and heartfelt, and so many of our guests commented on how beautiful and unique it was. On the wedding day, when there was a moment of panic about our handfasting cords, Heidi was calm, prepared, and already in action. While the original cords were found at the hotel and brought to the venue, she also went home to get backup cords just in case. Knowing she was willing to do whatever it took to keep the ceremony intact meant everything to us. Heidi brought such a grounding, supportive presence to the day. She even offered her hematite bracelet as a precaution to keep unwanted spiritual energy away, which perfectly reflects how thoughtful, intuitive, and caring she is. Nothing felt rushed or stressful with her involved. Heidi is far more than a wedding officiant. She became part of our family through this experience, and we lovingly refer to her as our Aunt Heidi. We are beyond grateful for her, and we would wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone looking for an officiant who truly cares and goes above and beyond.

Best Wedding EVER!
Absolutely the most amazing day of my life! Heidi from Love Story Vows was exactly what we were looking for, and we started with NO idea what we were looking for! We're non-religious, fun/funny people, but we had a lot of family in attendance for the wedding. We wanted to keep things traditional, but also a twist of silly and sarcastic, just like us. Heidi met with us a few times before the big day, sent us all the instructions/guidelines we needed (never been married before), and helped answer SO many questions! She was truly the easiest, most communicative vendor we had on the whole process, and I cannot thank her enough for all she did for myself and my husband. Our day was perfect with her help. She's your crazy / not crazy Aunt Heidi, and she really loves what she does for a living. You won't go wrong with her, she offers all sorts of wedding styles. Her voice is calm, relaxing, loud enough for all family to hear, makes the ceremony without being the main part, and is just the kindest soul. Thank you Heidi! You helped make our day so much more special, and you'll always have friend for life here!

Great day with Auntie Heidi
Heidi was great to work with from start to finish. She is kind, charismatic, and experienced, and has a ton of fun stories to tell. She helps you create a ceremony that's fun and personal. Day-of, she was super supportive in hectic moments even before the ceremony and helped keep things under control. Many of our guests asked us where we found Heidi or told us how much they loved our ceremony, and we would have been lost planning it without her guidance.

I just finished officiating my 669th ceremony since I started in 2016! I started officiating weddings after being a wedding planner. I was mentored by awesome wedding officiants! I learned from the best female wedding officiants in the country! Every ceremony I do is different, I encourage my couples to let me personalize their ceremony. The best way to do that is to have me write your Love Story, that's always fun for me and for you and your guests. I love what I do and I love my couples, each one of different and my job is to make sure they love their ceremony too! My vibe is kind of like your cool Auntie Heidi!

No, I don't offer premarital counseling and I don't require it. I do suggest if you feel that you need it, there's amazing professional marriage and family counselors who will help you. I'm always here for my couples as someone who has had an amazing relationship with their husband for over 25 years and can share personal advice from my relationship. Unfortunately, there are officiants that do not have credentials to be a MFT (marriage and family therapist). They will offer to charge you for a program that asks each of you some questions and gives generic advice. It's not real premarital counseling.

I started working as a professional wedding planner in 2010 for my photographer husband's couples. In 2016, I hired two of the top female wedding officiants in California to mentor me. Since then, I have created over 670 personal wedding ceremonies, most with me writing their Love Story! I still love what I do and stay in touch with my couples.

Of course, I can! The only thing I need for my records, for the state of California would be a copy of your certified marriage license proving that you were legally married.

With my packages, there are many options to personalize your ceremony. With my top package the ceremony is 100% customizable along with me writing your Love Story. The other package has personalizations and has a short love story.

I'm known for walking my couples through their ceremony as it is happening. Also most venues have an onsite coordinator who leads the rehearsal. Traditionally, the ceremony isn't practiced. The only thing being rehearsed is the order of the wedding party, walking up the aisle and where they stand up at the arch. Then the couple practicing the kiss and the order the wedding party walks out. Unless it's a very complicated ceremony with unusual things happening, you won't need me to be at the rehearsal. If you want me to be there, the cost is $175 depending on my availability.
