How long will my makeup last?

I provide traditional makeup services using luxury and professional brands to ensure the longevity of each application. I am a strong believer in thorough skin prep which is why all of my brides and bridal party receive skin prep to not only benefit their skin type and it’s concerns but to add to overall wear of the makeup. All makeup applications are to last from the time it’s first applied until you decide to wash it away - the complexion products within my kit are designed to be heat and sweat resistant.

What hair products do you use?

I keep my hair stocked with Kenra, R+Co, Oribe, and Rahua. I also use Big Sexy Powder Play to add volume to my fine haired clients requesting Hollywood glam waves! I try to stick to using one product line per client and select the product line best fit for each client’s hair texture. For clients with skin/fragrance sensitivity or choose to live a clean lifestyle and would like to help our environment - I will always reach for my Rahua products for you!

Are lashes supplied and included in each makeup service?

Lashes complete every look in my opinion which is why strip lashes are included with each makeup service! Brides have the option of choosing individual lashes which is a great way to add extra POP in the most natural way. You are welcome to bring your own lashes or opt out of lashes altogether, however, this will not affect pricing.

What makeup brands do you use?

I only use professional and luxury brands within my kit with the exception of Maybelline Great Lash mascara… yes, the pink and green tube! You wouldn’t believe how many of us artists use it on models and celebs - it’s the best! I also try to use the best of the best clean beauty brands when possible. My kit is stocked with RCMA, Cinema Secrets, FACE atelier, ByTerry, MAC, Charlotte Tilbury, Ilia, Beautycounter, Nars, Make Up For Ever, Bite Beauty, Danessa Myricks, Bobbi Brown and many many many more!

When should you book?

It’s always good to book well in advance to avoid scheduling conflicts. I recommend at least 5-6 months in advance if possible but the further out, the better! This will give us a good chunk of time to discuss any inspo you might have and get your bridal preview on the books within 90 days of your wedding date. Depending on the season or date, it is possible to book within a shorter time frame. Please inquire if you notice I am already booked - occasionally, I may be able to still accommodate your needs depending on party size.

Do you have added fees?

Yes! I do charge a travel fee based on the Federal Mileage Rate, parking fees/tolls and any other travel accommodations when necessary. A holiday fee is charged when applicable. All holidays will be discussed up front and are listed within my contract. All fees are due along with the day of balance.

What is your booking fee?

Accepted Answer

I require a non-refundable booking fee due at the time of your contract. This retainer equals a portion of your day of balance and the remainder is due on or before your special day.

Do you work with a team?

I do work on my own, however, depending on time constraints or larger parties, I have a number of trusted experienced artists I can bring onto my team to make sure you are all taken care of! Travel fees do apply per additional artist.

How do you clean your tools and products?

Accepted Answer

As a licensed professional, I take sanitation very seriously. All of my hot tools and hair tools (brushes, combs, clips) are wiped with 99% alcohol then are cleaned with warm, soapy water and barbacide. My makeup brushes are cleaned between each client with Cinema Secrets brush cleaner then deep cleaned after each wedding using Sonia Roselli’s tiger eye brush soap. All brush handles and stainless steel palettes and tools (tweezers, scissors, spatulas, eyelash curlers, pencil sharpeners) are sprayed and rubbed with 99% alcohol. All products are sprayed with 99% alcohol to avoid cross contamination.
