Not a good experience
Unfortunately I cannot recommend this vendor. The communication between Nadia and I from the start was not great and I had to email her multiple times in a row (after waiting sufficient time in between messages) just to get a response. This should have been my first red flag. My makeup trial went okay, although it did feel rushed and like I was squeezed in, as both the MUA and hairstylist literally ran to a wedding right after we had finished up. The first big mistake was that the planning for how long services would take/number of stylists needed was way off. There was not enough allotted time, the start time should have been earlier. I would have rather finished early than have dealt with what occurred. I didn’t even have a large wedding party- it was makeup for myself and 4 bridesmaids. Hair was for myself, 4 bridesmaids and my mom. Planning how many stylists and how much time is needed is literally part of the job, and an important one at that. On my wedding day, the MUA Bianca arrived over half an hour late. The reason she came late was because she was speeding and got pulled over. When she arrived, there was no apology and she made excuses saying she “lived far away”. Well of course that’s not something she found out the morning of the wedding and should have been planned for. The first hairstylist rushed through the bridesmaids’ hair. She had to leave at a certain time as well, and another hairstylist, Melissa, came. It was getting close to when the first hairstylist had to leave and she was still working on one of the girl’s hair. She literally told her that “this will have to do”, and messily finished up, even though the hairstyle looked nothing like what my bridesmaid wanted. Melissa, the second hairstylist, did do a great job and was super sweet. I changed what I wanted to do with my hair last minute (day of) and she executed it very well. She also worked hard to try and fix the bridesmaids hair that was not done well by the other artist. Back to Bianca, she was very slow with completing everyone’s makeup. Again, this should have been kept in mind when deciding who to send for the wedding. By the time she got to my makeup, we were already running so far behind. I was so incredibly stressed at that point, all of the excitement and joy I felt earlier was gone. My makeup did not come out the same as it did in the trial, my foundation appeared orange, and my eyelashes were already partly falling off. But there was literally no time to make revisions. We were supposed to be doing finishing touches around 1:45, and we didn’t even have makeup completed until almost 3. THIS WAS ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE. My ceremony started at 4, we were supposed to get almost all of the pictures done beforehand, and we weren’t even close to being able to do that. My first look felt rushed, I was super stressed and upset, and it literally ruined my entire experience of the first half of the day. That is a day that I’ll never get back and it was due to something totally out of my hands. When you book a vendor, you are trusting that they will take your special day just as serious and important as you do. But they certainly did not. Please don’t make the same mistake as I did!

Hi Kelly, I’m really sorry to hear that you’re still feeling this way about your wedding day. That’s never how we want any of our brides to look back on their experience. As we discussed last year, we did take your concerns seriously and issued a full refund as a gesture of goodwill. In terms of the timeline, everything was planned and confirmed ahead of time based on the services booked. On the day of, our team was asked by venue staff to move and reset our setup twice due to space and setting up for the reception, which definitely impacted timing in ways that were out of our control. That said, Bianca arriving late is not something I take lightly at all. That situation was handled immediately, and both artists involved are no longer part of the team, as that level of professionalism is not something I tolerate. I’m glad to hear Melissa was able to step in and help—she truly is great, and I’m happy she was able to turn things around where she could. I completely understand how important that morning was, and I’m genuinely sorry that it felt stressful. That was never the intention. Wishing you all the best. —Nadia

Perfect Soft Glam Bridal Look
Nadia's Beauty Spot was an absolute pleasure to work with for my wedding day hair and makeup. From the very first consultation, Nadia and her team were prompt, responsive, and professional in all of our communications. Their level of experience and attention to detail was evident in the beautiful, thoughtful work they did on the day of - they delivered exactly what I had asked for, and then some. Nadia was also so kind and helpful in picking out the exact makeup to use due to my sensitive skin. Not only was my hair and makeup perfect, but Nadia also stayed about 1-2 hours extra to help fix my makeup after the first look and private vow exchanges; going above and beyond to ensure I looked my absolute best throughout the entire event. Nadia has such a warm, friendly demeanor and made me feel like I was working with a close friend. Additionally, Julia did an incredible job on my hair, nailing the exact look I had requested even though I had changed my mind on the style just a week prior. I cannot recommend Nadia's Beauty Spot highly enough - they truly helped make my wedding day perfect.

Incredible experience with Nadia's team
Nadia's team did an absolutely incredible job for my bridal party! Julia did my bridal hair and she is an absolute goddess - I have no idea how she made my natural hair look so gorgeous, she is truly a magician with hair. I would 100% recommend using Nadia's team for any event - they were so kind and lovely, did such beautiful work on hair and makeup, and made the bridal party so much more fun. All my bridesmaids commented on how much they loved their makeup and hair looks. Thank you so much for making our day so special!

Love the ladies of Nadia's Beauty Spot
Working with Nadia and her salon team continues to be fantastic and has changed the way I view beauty services for myself and the women in my life. For my wedding, Nadia helped me work within my budget to gift hair and makeup services to my bridesmaids and mother/mother-in-law. Carissa, Marissa, and Raquelle were so professional and made every woman feel and look amazing for my wedding day! I have continued to use this salon's services for regular spray tans and special occasion hair and makeup and I continue to feel amazing.

Amazing crew!
Nadia's Beauty Spot was an absolute delight to work with for my wedding day!
