With a decade of experience as a traveling freelance makeup artist, I bring a wealth of expertise honed through my Bachelor of Arts Degree. My services are comprehensive, covering Bridal Makeup, Special Events and beyond. Whether you're aiming for a natural or glamorous look on your special day, I provide personalized consultations as a dedicated artist, committed to making your day truly unique.

My goal is to meet all your beauty needs on the day of your event. Travel to your destination for the special day is not an issue. For larger wedding parties, I have a network of skilled artists ready to assist.

I am unfortunately only a Makeup Artist. But I work with and can recommend vendors to work with.

I do provide an airbrush foundation option at trial.

Travel fee is based on location of event. Pricing is as follows: MORE THAN 25 MILES FROM MY ZIP (07013) - $1 PER MILE ROUND TRIP - TOLLS & VALET PARKING NYC LOCATION FOR ANY APPLICATION - $1 PER MILE ROUND TRIP + VALET PARKING

For larger wedding parties I have a couple of artists that can assist me for your special day. This allows for faster getting ready and for brides under a time constraint.

Working with Makeup by Kristin NJ LLC was an absolute pleasure from start to finish. Amazing Work
Makeup by Kristin NJ LLC was an absolute pleasure to work with for our wedding day. Kristin's communication style was effective, direct, and timely - she checked in with me before the trial, after the trial, a week before the wedding, and the morning of the big day to ensure everything was set. The quality of her work was excellent, thorough, and accurate. Kristin used great products and matched everyone's skin tone perfectly, even suggesting lip glosses for us to apply throughout the event. She also spoke with us about everyday makeup suggestions to help us look and feel our best. Kristin is personable and friendly, and made the entire bridal party feel comfortable in her chair. Wedding Makeup!
I cannot say enough amazing things about Kristin! She did my sister, my mom, and my makeup for my engagement party, bridal shower, and wedding day — and every single time, she made us feel absolutely beautiful. She truly listens to what you want, enhances your natural features, and creates looks that last all day (and night!). Not only is she incredibly talented, but she’s also professional, calm, and kind — exactly the energy you want around you on such special days. She also did makeup for my bridal party, and everyone looked stunning and felt so confident. I’m so grateful to have had her as part of such important moments. I can’t recommend her enough!

More than makeup
I can’t say enough amazing things about Kristin from Makeup by Kristin! She was professional, friendly, and so much fun to have with us on the wedding morning. You can tell she truly cares about her work and took the time to listen to what each of us wanted and delivered exactly that. Every look was flawless, natural, and lasted all day (and night!). She went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed for any last-minute touch-ups. She made me (the bride), my sister, my mom, and my 9-year-old daughter all feel so beautiful and confident. My daughter’s face absolutely lit up when she saw her makeup, it was the perfect mix of fun and age-appropriate. We felt completely taken care of from start to finish. I couldn’t have asked for a better artist or experience!
