I have always been passionate about beauty! When clients ask me how long I have been doing this, my answer is: "I have about 14 years of experience doing makeup but 8 years doing makeup professionally". I started off initially doing makeup for friends and family, then family friends + friends of friends. I then got a job working at Sephora where I learned a lot about products and working w/ different skin types/tones, ages and styles of makeup etc for 7 years. In 2018 I decided to assist another bridal MUA and that is where I was introduced to the bridal/wedding world & I have loved it since! Booking 2026 weddings now!

My main focus is you and doing exactly what it is you wish for your big day ! Im a perfectionist and really like to take my time in having you look your absolute best ! My clients always compliment my work ethic and tell me how easy I am to work with and get along with. I'm told often that I am very calming with a light touch and my clients often feel really relaxed while having their makeup done with me! I also am great with communication and try to always respond in a timely manner! If I had to put myself into a category style of makeup, my specialty would be soft glam, but even then I truly try to tailor the makeup to each individual.

    Danica was absolutely incredible to work with. She has such a warm & calm demeanor that kept me stress free while getting ready for my wedding. She is a joy to be around and takes her work seriously. I felt special every time we communicated and she made me feel so beautiful. I could not recommend her enough!!!

    Wedding makeup of my dreams!

    I can hardly express how happy I am to have found Danica for my wedding makeup. Her work is beautiful and she and was so easy to work with. I'm so glad I did a trial so we could nail down the look for my wedding day and she was able to replicate it with any and all feedback I provided/changes we thought of after the trial. I wanted to go soft glam but still wanted it to look very natural, and she was able to create a beautiful balance and bring my dream look to life. My entire party was so happy with their makeup and it lasted beautifully throughout the entire day (and night).

    You must book!

    Danica was amazing! She gave me and my bridesmaids the perfect soft, natural glow without feeling caked in makeup. She was on time, professional, and made the whole process stress-free. My makeup lasted all night through happy tears and dancing, and she even stayed for touch-ups before I walked down the aisle. I couldn’t have asked for a better makeup artist on my wedding day!

    BOOK DANICA!! She is professional, incredibly talented, and the absolute sweetest! With all the stress that comes with wedding planning, she made this part so easy and stress-free. I knew I was in the best hands. On my wedding day, my makeup was everything I dreamed of and more. I felt so beautiful! Even with the hot weather, my makeup stayed flawless, and I received so many compliments throughout the day. 10/10 recommend Danica for your wedding or any special occasion!

    Repeat Client for Bay Area Makeup Artist

    Danica serves the Bay Area and I am so glad I found her. I hired her as my makeup artist for our celebration and was so happy with the work that I have already enlisted her services for two other events. Her portfolio focuses on soft and/or natural glam. Danica helped to make suggestions and was patient with me as my brief for my initial consult was open and somewhat vague—I didn’t have a specific look in mind. I just knew I wanted to look like an “enhanced” version of myself. She helped to guide me through my options and we discussed adjustments after my makeup trial once we reviewed her work in natural light. Some things to know: 1.) Do a trial. Just do it. It removes the stress for everyone leading into a big event. 2.) Have some idea of what you do/don’t like or at least be prepared to have an opinion 3.) Take time to what you care about; for me my big three were: identifying the right foundation color, ensuring my lashes helped to open up my hooded eyes (vs seeing my lashes before me you saw the rest of me) and sculpting my face without creating harsh lines. There are some things about makeup that I don’t normally think about that makeup artists will ask you. Examples of this will be type of liner you use (soft by using a pencil or something sharper with a liquid), the color of the liner, etc.). You will learn the hardest thing to nail (surprisingly) is lip color. It’s clear I would hire Danica again (I already have!) and I hope you enjoy your experience with her as well!
