Hello future brides! Congratulations on your engagement! My name is Krystal Dent, I have been in the beauty industry for 15 years now. My goal is to provide my clients with a positive and relaxing beauty experience. Whether you want a soft or glam look, you can expect the utmost professionalism and creative techniques to bring your special day vision to life!

My eye for beauty and technique sets me apart! I truly love what I do.. most of the time it doesn’t even feel like I am working. I think also caring/listening to your client is so important! Communication is key.

Final payment is due day before or day of wedding. We accept cash, Venmo or Zelle.

Yes, we require a deposit of $300 to hold your date. The $300 goes towards your final balance day of wedding.

Trials can be scheduled 6 months + prior to wedding. Whenever is convenient for you basically!

The best!!!
I cannot say enough amazing things about Krystal and KMD Beauty! She has been my hairdresser for years, so when it came time to choose someone for my wedding day, the decision was effortless. I already knew I could trust her completely — and she still managed to exceed every expectation. She is incredibly detail-oriented and truly listens. From our initial wedding consult to the big day, she took the time to understand my vision and brought it to life flawlessly. My hair and makeup were everything I dreamed of — elegant, timeless, and so me. She made me feel like the best version of myself, and the look lasted beautifully all day (and night!). Her team of stylists was equally amazing. They worked seamlessly to glam up my bridal party and made sure everyone felt confident and stunning. They were professional, organized, and brought such a positive energy to the morning. Not only is Krystal insanely talented, but she also brings a calm, professional presence that made getting ready feel relaxed and fun. I’m beyond grateful to have had her and her team by my side on such a special day. If you’re looking for someone who genuinely cares and delivers perfection — she’s the one.

Best hair and makeup in RI!!!
Krystal has been my hair dresser for several years now and there was no question when I got engaged who I was going to ask to do my wedding hair/makeup. I always leave the salon so happy, and my wedding day was no exception! Working with Krystal is always SO easy - she’s clear and responsive, so supportive, flexible, funny, all the things. She (and her assistant Jen who helped her) did an amazing job on hair and makeup for the full bridal party and mothers. Everyone was very happy and felt beautiful and appreciated how natural yet polished our makeup was. Krystal even accommodated my mother in law who on the day of decided she wanted to have her makeup done. Speaking from someone who’s never worn foundation, she loved it too! Also note - I wore clip in extensions on my wedding day and was nervous about them, and Krystal did a fantastic job securing them and making it look so natural.

Loved Krystal! Made me feel confident
I met Krystal for my hair and makeup trial 8 months before my wedding and knew instantly that I was going to love her. She made me feel safe, confident, and beautiful that day and I knew I wanted her to do my hair and makeup the day of my wedding. On the day of my wedding, Krystal was the first person in the door and ready to go with everything. She helped everyone figure out what kind of look they wanted for the day and used colors and tones to compliment each woman. When she finished with my hair and makeup, my jaw hit the floor. I’m not a makeup person and never do anything with my hair other than put it up in a ponytail. I could not stop looking at myself because Krystal made me feel my most beautiful on my wedding day. I will be forever grateful to Krystal for everything she did for me that day and making me feel confident.

Highly recommend
Krystal was a joy to work with all the way up to our hug goodbye in my dress on the big day. I picked her very carefully and loved her social media. We did one trial and afterward I looked beautiful, but it wasn't exactly what I wanted for the big day. A WORD OF ADVICE If you book your trial too soon you will most likely change your mind. Krystal was so accommodating and we did a second trial closer to the big day. I was so happy to be able to do this. On the actual day I loved how I looked and have her to thank for that. She has such a kind nature and makes it easy. Thank you Krystal!

Krystal was absolutely awesome to work with! Despite me changing my entire look from my trial to the day of, she NAILED it. She and her team made all the girls so comfortable, really listened to what we asked for, and delivered. She was communicative prior to the wedding day and always helpful with my questions. On the big day Krystal and her team arrived promptly and brought such a warm, calming presence to the bridal suite. They listened attentively to each member of the bridal party, ensuring everyone felt comfortable and confident in their look. Krystal is incredibly talented, but she is also professional and personable. She created a relaxed atmosphere, which was especially appreciated during the whirlwind of the wedding day preparations. I cannot recommend KMD Beauty highly enough. If you're looking for someone who is not only skilled but also passionate about their craft and dedicated to making your wedding day perfect, she is your girl. Thank you so much for being a crucial part of making my wedding day everything I dreamed it would be!!
