    This is in response to Shannon's reply about the post titled wedding. This review is legit, and the wedding was on 4-4-26. I understand this is frustrating, but I want to be honest—we weren’t happy with the makeup. We didn’t say anything at the time because we felt uncomfortable speaking up, but that doesn’t change how we felt about the result. Out of the 6 of us who had makeup, only 2 were happy. As I stated previously, the hairstyling was great, but the overall experience and your communication style made for a stressful time.

    I am so sorry that you feel this way but I do understand that was not the case and we asked if you guys were happy with services multiple times and you said unfortunately we recommended the airbrush was not the best for the application of the client and that’s why we are hired to advise that I do appreciate if you’d like you could’ve spoken up and we did make changes and we also do advise what photographs well and what not I do have multiple photos of you guys and videos saying that you were happy with services so if you’d like me to provide that I have no problem doing thank you

    We hired Faces by Shannon for our wedding day hair and makeup, and unfortunately the experience fell short of what we hoped for. Shannon is skilled with hairstyling and her work in that area looked great, but the makeup application was heavy-handed and didn't match what we discussed beforehand. During our consultations and on the wedding day, she dominated conversations and didn't seem interested in hearing our input or concerns. She made comments about one of our guests that were hurtful, calling out their skin in front of others, which created unnecessary drama on what should have been a joyful day. Shannon seemed convinced she was always right about what we should do, even when it conflicted with our vision. While her hair skills are solid, her communication style and approach to makeup made the overall experience stressful rather than enjoyable.

    I am so sorry to hear this, but I would like to know which wedding this was and the name so we could definitely direct this out on Hair And Makeup. I would never want anyone to ever feel that way. I know that my business has been hacked so I’m not sure if these are completely legit reviews so if possible if you could please respond back to me with your name and wedding date that would be absolutely fabulous.     Shannon is amazing!!!

    Shannon from Faces by Shannon is an amazing hair and makeup artist. Her communication is top-notch - she responds quickly and provides detailed information. The quality of her work is truly phenomenal. I've used Shannon for several special occasions, including my wedding and maternity photoshoots, and she has always exceeded my expectations. As an incredibly talented artist, Shannon does incredible work with hair and makeup. I've been using her for all of my memorable events for the past 15 years and will continue to do so. Shannon is simply the best in the business. Love her!
