McKenzie draws unique inspiration from her professional experiences. Her masters degree in art history, inherently and quietly inspires and informs the compositions and floral approach of Sweetfield. Previously, McKenzie worked at an interior design firm in NYC, which had the greatest impact to her overall aesthetics, design and approach to business - which is to always be thoughtful and make even the quietest of moments special. Her career as a photo and video producer honed McKenzie’s logistics, problem‑solving, and on‑site execution skills, ensuring every floral installation is efficient, composed with intention, and seamlessly executed.

There is an inherent awareness of sensitivity in our work, which translates into each decision happening with intention and kindness. At Sweetfield, we create environments that are elegant yet comfortable, always welcoming guests to savor in the moment. We work with the movement and colors of the seasons, embracing the perfectly imperfect beauty of florals. We work to combine our southern grace, with a modern thoughtfulness.

An Ethereal Dream
Sweet Field Flowers created an ethereal dream for my daughter’s beach wedding in the simple medium of flowers. Their excellence from vision to execution made the entire process easy. The best part was that when McKenzie and her crew arrived, they went straight to work, allowing me to spend time with my daughter getting dressed and making memories without being pulled away with questions. Sweet Field Flowers elevated the wedding in the form of delicate dahlias, precious peonies, white roses, and a gorgeous assortment of wildflowers. Thank you for being part of the undercurrent that made this special day flow so magnificently.

Spring Wedding by
Working with McKenzie was one of my favorite parts of wedding planning. I shared my vision, she embraced it and ran with it. Her enthusiasm and wisdom gave me complete trust throughout the process. She was available and honest in all communications and the final arrangements she created were absolutely stunning. She provided an experience of color- all white at the rehearsal, white and yellow at the ceremony, adding pops of pink at cocktail hour, and an abundant display of every color in a waterfall of flowers at the reception. The flowers added so much joy to an already loving event, making it more special than my wildest dream! I’m forever grateful.

Always wonderful to work with Sweetfield!
I have worked with Sweetfield on many event engagements and Mckenzie and her team have been AMAZING. From more practical event needs to large in-depth installation projects, Sweetfield has always produced beautiful work. They have always executed on-time and very receptive of feedback and changes. Stunning Flowers!!!!

Sweetfield Flowers is amazing!
McKenzie of Sweetfield Flowers is an absolute floral genius! Her talent goes far beyond creating beautiful arrangements—she has a true gift for turning flowers into art. She designed the most extraordinary arrangement for my mother’s funeral, something so unique and stunning it truly stood apart from anything I’ve ever seen.
