    The BEST Florist Ever!

    I cannot recommend Flowers by Melis enough - she is truly one of my absolute favorite florists to work with! As a planner who specializes in weird, niche, nerdy, and themed weddings, it’s so important for me to collaborate with vendors who are not only talented, but also open-minded and creative—and Melissa is exactly that. She consistently goes above and beyond to bring unique visions to life, no matter how out-of-the-box the concept may be. And even if the wedding/event is more traditional, she will create absolutely stunning arrangements! She’s incredibly kind, collaborative, and genuinely cares about both her clients and her vendor partners. On top of that, her work is absolutely stunning; every arrangement is thoughtful, intentional, and beautifully executed. One of the things I appreciate most is how she works with a variety of budgets. Her pricing is fair and accessible, and she’s amazing at meeting clients where they’re at while still offering thoughtful recommendations to maximize their vision. She’s also a fantastic communicator and just an all-around joy to work with. If any issues come up, she handles them with professionalism and care, always doing everything she can to make it right.     Always top notch!

    I order from Melissa whenever I can. Her work is always stunning and unique and the blooms are the freshest. I can’t recommend a local florist more in the Long Beach and OC areas!

She understood the project well and was very dependable, there were no worries on my part at all. Melissa's professional work ethic is admirable, and her creativity and knowledge of available flowers allowed her to go above and beyond in crafting elegant, dependable, and efficient floral arrangements in the pink and yellow tones I had requested.     Simply stunning!

    Melissa is a true gem! She did the florals for our wedding ceremony and reception. She is a real artist with a vast knowledge of florals. We did a trial arrangement with her so I could visually see her work prior to wedding. She did such a stunning job with the trial I knew she was the perfect choice to do the florals for our wedding. She is a great communicator and was able to substitute flowers that I wanted that were out of season for similar flowers that were in season. Her and her team also brought the flowers from the ceremony and repurposed them for the reception. We were so thrilled with how everything turned out and we got so many compliments on the flowers. They really livened up the tables and were the center of our wedding aesthetic. Thank you so much Melissa for your artistry and professionalism. You made us so confident that we knew you were the perfect florist for us. If you need flowers for your wedding Melissa should be your number one choice!
