My first day of Kindergarten, my parents asked me what I hoped to do at school that day. I responded by saying, "I want to paint, paint a picture for my sister." I studied art in college and received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Art Education from Tennessee Tech University in 2006. I worked as an art educator for several years and as a full time independent artist since 2012. I have been featured by a number of podcasts, magazines, TV, as a keynote speaker, and across the globe.

More Than Just a Painting
Having Heather as our live painter was one of the most special parts of our wedding day. It was truly unforgettable to watch her turn such a meaningful moment into a beautiful painting. Seeing it come together on canvas amazed not just us, but all of our guests- everyone was talking about it. One of the most touching moments was when she included us by letting us add our own brushstrokes. That simple gesture made the artwork feel even more personal and emotional. The final piece is absolutely stunning. A one-of-a-kind keepsake we’ll treasure forever. Heather is not only incredibly talented, but also warm, kind, and an absolute joy to work with. HEATHER CHANGED MY ENTIRE WEDDING DAY
Heather changed the vibe of my entire wedding day. This painting experience was gifted to us by my mother in law - and not only is it now a forever keepsake, but it was a TOTAL guest experience. Checking in on our painting throughout the night was so much fun. Our friends and family loved it so much. Working with Heather before our wedding was so fun - we hopped on the phone a week before because she wanted to completely understand my vision and hopes for our painting - and she delivered MORE THAN I COULD HAVE EVER IMAGINED. She was absolutely without a doubt our favorite vendor. Heather was a joy to work with. Not only did she bring such incredible energy to our day, but she also went above and beyond to film so much iPhone content that I would have otherwise NEVER had of our wedding day. She (discreetly) filmed our vows, our grand entrance, my walk down the aisle, etc. I truly would have hired her just for this alone. I was so so soooo thankful to receive all of these (total surprise) from her the next day. This is something that makes Heather stand out amongst other vendors - this did not by any means fall under her promises to deliver but she did it anyway which I think speaks volumes to the person she is. She was so happy to just be apart of our day and capture it for us. If you are on the fence about a live painting experience - this is your sign, BOOK HER ASAP!!! We are forever Heathers biggest fans.

Heather painted an incredible view from one of our favorite hikes in the North Cascades and captured its beauty perfectly!
