Hi, I’m Maura Gorman, owner and head creator at Dainty Scripts! I started the business in 2019 after years of making custom signs, paintings, and gifts for family and friends. With my degree background in fine art painting from MassArt and my experience as an art teacher, I wanted to create a business that spreads joy through personalized art. As a previous 2022 bride who was featured in Boston Magazine, I know how important you big day is.

The Dainty Scripts team paints live guest portraits on-site during your event. Starting during cocktail hour, the team blends seamlessly into the celebration—offering guests an experience that's both interactive and heartwarming. Each custom illustration is painted with care, giving your guests a lasting reminder of your special day. A perfect twist on event favors and added entertainment your guests will love. Service includes a 8x10 illustration of the wedding couple and 5x7 illustrations of your guests. We also offer custom signage upon request!

The best!!!
We are SO grateful to have had Dainty Scripts at our wedding! Maura & her team are so sweet, kind, and unbelievably talented. Such an amazing experience from beginning to end. Our guests cannot stop talking about how much they love their illustrations. It was such a special addition to our wedding day and we cannot thank them enough!

The Perfect Keepsake
Dainty Scripts made our private dinner so special. They placed each drawing inside of an ornamental frame making it the perfect keepsake for the holidays. They were very professional from start to finish and our guests has lots of fun with their poses and drawings.

Do It!
If you’re thinking of booking them, do not hesitate! Not only are they some of the nicest most genuine people (which is hard to find in the wedding business), they are also incredibly talented!! Dainty Scripts painted guest portraits at our wedding and were such a hit! We loved it, guests loved it - people can not stop talking about how great they were well after the wedding. It’s such a thoughtful “favor” for people to take home, and is a perfect entertainment/conversation piece for whatever event you hire them for. Seriously, book while you can so you don’t miss out! You will not regret it.

GREAT ADDITION TO THE WEDDING

Incredible touch to our wedding day!
We were so lucky to have Dainty Scripts at our wedding, and working with Maura was an absolute dream! She was so kind, professional, and truly added such a special touch to our day.
