About Tea Traditions

Natalie Fahey

Owner of Tea Traditions Catering

Welcome. We are a catering company that specializes in a classic and elegant tea party experience, and also cater many brunches, luncheons, and cocktail parties. We have beautiful tableware for a traditional tea party as well as platters for an elegant buffet table. We focus our attention on our food and use fresh, quality ingredients so that every bite is flavorful.

We are a small family owned & operated business, the only business specializing in tea parties! The founder, my mother, was an interior designer and also full Italian, she was an amazing cook. She put both loves together and created Tea Traditions. Unfortunately, she was diagnosed with a rare type of dementia 7 years ago. I decided to take her amazing business over once I graduated college to keep it going which also allows me to take care of her. I do everything in my power to honor her and keep her 5 star (Yelp) review going. I work closely with customers to make their visions come to life and make their events beautiful and one of a kind.

    Tea party wedding

We had Tea Traditions cater for our wedding reception, which had about 100 guests. Natalie was enthusiastic and helpful throughout the booking process, and server staff was very helpful during the event. They took particular care to keep the gluten-free sandwiches wrapped separately away from the main buffet table and offered to all the guests with allergies. The staff also helped to pour champagne and cut/serve our wedding cake without charging any additional fees as some caterers do. Presentation was beautiful: The teacups and glass plates are absolutely gorgeous- photos on the website don't do them justice. I will mention that the portions are small: if you order 100 sandwiches, that's 100 of the little cut tea-sandwich pieces. I wish I had ordered a little extra (all of our "maybe" guests turned out being "yes" at the last minute)- it seemed like there was enough for guests to go back for seconds if they wanted, but not a lot of choice left over.
