Silver Spoon Catering is a personal chef catering company based in Richwood, West Virginia. Specializing in Italian, American, Seafood, Fusion, Farm-to-table, BBQ, and Southern cuisine making beautiful, elegant, and delicious plates that would be perfect for your special event.

SSC prides itself on offering personal chef services for every event. Each Silver Spoon events starts with personal conversations and connections regarding desire and menu creation and concludes with the preparation and service of food freshly prepared on-site (or as close by as possible) and served with artistic flare by professional staff.

We were honored to be part of this couples entire wedding weekend. It was like a huge family reunion with almost all of their family staying on property. We provided lunch on the day before the wedding, breakfast the day of the wedding and day following the wedding, and all of the receptions cocktail hour hors d’oeurves, an extensive dinner spread, and provided cake cutting services.

Exceeded Expectations
From our first interaction, the team at Silver Spoon Catering, including Chef Mark and Amy, put us at ease and made us feel like our wedding day was something truly special to them. Their communication was perfect - fast, friendly, and incredibly accommodating as we navigated various dietary needs for our guests. The quality of their work was simply breathtaking. The food they prepared and artistically displayed was mouthwatering, professional, and exceeded all of our expectations. We had several guests who were plant-based, gluten-free, or dairy-free, and even one with a nut allergy, and Silver Spoon crafted unique, elevated accommodations for each of them so they felt valued and their needs were met. We keep looking for excuses to have Silver Spoon cater another event - their personal chef experience is one we can't wait to enjoy all over again. Our guests are still raving about the food, especially the homemade vital wheat gluten roulade with butternut squash velouté that Chef Mark prepared just for our plant-based guests. Even our meat-loving Uncle Carl thought it was delicious!

Best in WV
Silver Spoon Catering was an absolute dream to work with for our wedding. Amy and Mark were super easy to communicate and work with, seamlessly guiding us through several menu adjustments until we landed on the perfect selection. On our wedding day, their professionalism and staff execution were truly outstanding. The icing on the cake (pun intended) was that they prepared the entire meal onsite, filling the hall with the mouthwatering aroma as our guests arrived. The food itself was hands down the best we've ever had at a wedding - our guests are still raving about it! Hands down, Silver Spoon Catering is the best in West Virginia, even better than the renowned Greenbrier. We can't recommend Chef Mark, Amy, and their team highly enough - they truly went above and beyond to make our day even more special.
