At Mangia Catering, we’re passionate about creating magical wedding experiences, from intimate elopements to grand, elegant celebrations. Since 2011, we’ve been serving the Spokane/ Coeur d’Alene area and beyond. We help couples enjoy a stress-free day by coordinating catering, rentals, bar service, bakery needs, event planning and more all on one contract. We offer a wide range of service styles to match your celebration, including simple buffets, private chef experiences, action stations, passed hors d’oeuvres, plated meals, family-style service, and more.

We love designing every wedding with your experience in mind. With our fully self-contained mobile kitchen, we have the ability to cook fresh on site, using seasonal locally sourced ingredients, bringing meals to your guests at their absolute best. We work closely with our chefs, planners, and designers to make the day feel effortless for you while creating moments your guests will remember. Jessica and Hayden’s wedding was designed to create a series of meaningful, connected moments across the property. As both planners and caterer, we shaped each experience with intention. The day began with a private first look in a quiet garden, followed by a ceremony beneath the willows that felt intimate and naturally beautiful. Guests then moved into a lively cocktail hour near the barn with live music and passed hors d’oeuvres, keeping the energy flowing into the evening. Dinner took place on the event deck, where candlelight, a plated meal, and a custom bar beneath the grape vines created a relaxed yet elevated reception. Seasonal, locally inspired cuisine and attentive service tied the day together, allowing each moment to feel effortless, beautiful, and memorable.

Great food, great service, easy menu planning
Mangia Catering Company was an absolute pleasure to work with for our wedding. Their communication style was polite, comprehensive, effective, and timely throughout the entire planning process. I was never waiting on information from them and they were patient awaiting my responses. They offered valuable insight when picking the menu and helping us create the experience we wanted around our budget. The quality of their work and value was truly outstanding and the food they provided was handcrafted and polished, with a high-impact presentation that impressed every single one of our guests. Their seamless service kept everything running on time and stress-free, and we were amazed by their attention to detail that even earned a vote of confidence from my notoriously picky mother-in-law (no small feat!). The Mangia team felt like an extension of our event, with their friendly and professional demeanor contributing greatly to the success of our day. I would recommend them to any couple in a heartbeat.

Great food
Highly recommend mangia for any catering needs. They catered my daughter’s wedding in Sandpoint and the food was excellent, on time, hot and beautifully severed. The team was very easy to work, would definitely use them again for another event.

Couldn't be happier!
We cannot say enough good things about Mangia Catering Company. From the very beginning, their team was kind, quick to respond, and made the whole planning process so easy. On our wedding day, the food was incredible. Everything was cooked onsite, looked beautiful, and tasted amazing. We had the prime rib and salmon buffet, and every bite was perfect. We also had his and hers cocktails. The bartenders were so friendly and the bar looked wonderful. For dessert, they set up a mini dessert bar along with our cake they brought, which everyone loved. What really stood out was how they went above and beyond when we planned. They helped with special decor touches and assisted with rentals so our tables looked exactly how we wanted. My cousin had used Mangia for her wedding and raved about their wood-fired pizza, which we used for the rehearsal and loved! We are so thankful to the Mangia team for making our wedding day feel special and stress-free. The food, the team, and all the little details made everything perfect.

Every wedding is different! Minimums vary depending on your date and service style letting us create the right experience for you. Our standard full service minimum for peak season ranges between $3,500-$5,000 F&B

We can provide a rough estimate, but catering costs depend on several factors, including the length of your event, menu selections, service style (buffet, plated, or family-style), and guest count. We specialize in creating a menu customized to your tastes, desires, and budget. Most agreements include a breakdown of charges—per guest pricing, event labor, service fee, and tax. For events outside our local area, travel time for staff and any required hotel fees are added.

A full-service caterer offers more than just great food, but the entire experience. At Mangia Catering, our in-house design team, MNG Event Collective, can handle all your event rentals, planning, and design details. To reserve your date, we require a non-refundable $1,000 “save the date” retainer, which is applied toward your final invoice. Once your event details are finalized and your contract is sent, the retainer is applied to your balance. Final guest counts are due one month before your event, and the remaining balance is due two weeks prior. Additional payments can be made by certified check between your initial deposit and final payment.

We can accommodate most dietary needs, including gluten-free, vegetarian, vegan, and food allergies. We are not an allergen-certified kitchen, and cross-contact is possible.

We don’t like surprises either, so we provide as much of the event cost upfront as possible. In addition to your menu price per guest, event labor, service charge, and tax, there may be additional charges for rental equipment such as plates, china, glassware, specialty linens, kitchen equipment, and similar items.
