Preparing and serving slow smoked, expertly prepared Texas barbecue and rustic Italian inspired dishes is the greatest joy in my life. There are no short cuts in barbecue and that's what I love about it. We started Luongo Barbecue to glorify the Lord and grow the Kingdom of God. We use the business as a means to feed and serve our community. After spending 30 years in Texas we have relocated to central Pennsylvania to begin working with family on the next chapter of Luongo Barbecue. Winners of "Best in Show" and "Best Entrée" at Taste of Western Lancaster County 2025 for our brisket, pulled pork and peach cobbler!

We're not hired to simply provide and serve food. We provide the bride, groom and their guests with a memorable dining experience for them to truly enjoy as they gather around the table to celebrate and honor the beginning of their lives together. Our work is our worship. We aim to bring glory to God by serving you with excellence. Every wedding is sacred and worthy of our best efforts. A portion of profits go to feeding the homeless and funding missions though our church. NO SEED OILS! Quality is non-negotiable. We cook all of our prepared dishes exclusively with olive oil, avocado oil, and tallow.

WEDDING RECEPTION
THE FOOD WAS EXCELLENT!! THE STAFF WAS PROFFESSIONAL, FRIENDLY AND ALWAYS THERE TO HELP WHEN I NEEDED THEM. WE HAD AN ISSUE AND NEEDED A CATERER AT THE LAST MINUTE. THEY WERE WILLING TO CATER THE WEDDING FOR US. THEY DID AN AMAZING JOB. THE MAC & CHEESE WAS THE BEST EVER!! I CANT SAY ENOUGH GOOD THINGS AS THEY WERE WONDERFUL!! THANK YOU!!!!

Highly recommend! We booked them for our wedding reception. The food was delicious, and there was plenty of it. They were on time, professional, and great with allergy friendly options. Very responsive to questions, and also very reasonably priced. They made the food part easy for us.

AMAZING
Luongo Barbecue was an absolute dream to work with for our wedding. From the very first interaction, their communication was professional and timely. The quality of their work and overall value was simply fantastic - they went above and beyond to ensure our special day was perfect. The service was excellent; they set up on time, their clean-up was seamless, and their interaction with the guests respectful and uplifting. We absolutely cannot recommend Luongo Barbecue enough. The food was over the top delicious, their staff was incredibly polite and engaging, and they even went out of their way to help our guests get to-go containers. They were the perfect catering partner for our wedding. No need to even think twice about having them cater your special event!

Highly recommend!
I am so glad I found Luongo BBQ to cater my wedding!! Chuck is super easy to work with and has the fastest response time on record. He was so helpful by answering the million questions I had and was happy to do so. The team he brought to help serve the food were so sweet, respectful and professional! The #1 compliment we got about our wedding was how good the food was! We had plenty of leftovers and the serving portions were plenty big! I cannot thank Luongo BBQ enough for making our big day even more special with their amazing food! I highly recommend y’all book with Luongo BBQ, you won’t regret it!

Luongo Barbecue was an exceptional catering partner for our wedding. From the start, their communication was fast, efficient, and knowledgeable, making the planning process smooth and stress-free. On the day of the wedding, their team was selfless, professional, and personable, going above and beyond to ensure everything ran seamlessly. They were extremely timely and organized, and went out of their way to be sure every detail was taken care of. Luongo Barbecue also thoughtfully packed up all the leftovers for us, which was such a kind gesture. We cannot recommend them highly enough - they truly helped make our special day perfect.
