Cody’s Belly Bites was born during the COVID-19 pandemic when I converted a van into a mobile kitchen, delivering fresh, homemade meals to frontline workers across Chicago. Even after opening and closing a restaurant while pregnant during uncertain times, I kept going. What began as affordable meal plates in underserved communities grew into a full-service private chef and catering company operating from a licensed commercial kitchen. Today, we cater weddings, corporate events, and intimate gatherings with heart, excellence, and purpose — always serving food made with love.

What sets us apart is heart. We pair elevated cuisine with custom menus and thoughtful service, creating meaningful, memorable experiences for every client, no matter the budget. With faith and flavor.

Wedding Caterer
We had Cody cater our wedding and she was absolutely amazing! She was so helpful throughout the whole process and worked with us to make sure we stayed within our budget, which we truly appreciated. The food was delicious and her personality made everything even more beautiful. she’s so friendly and wonderful to work with. We’re so grateful for her and would highly recommend Cody’s Belly Bites!

Superb Wedding Catering w/ Cody's Belly Bites
I booked a wedding through Cody's Belly Bites and from start to finish the communication and service was spot on and Amazing!! The quality of the food was Beyond Excellent. The things that made our day special was the jerk mac and cheese, steak sliders, mocktails (all 3 signatures) due to size of crowd; I can go on and on. Chef Cody and her staff were very professional. Would highly recommend her!!

Cody's Belly Bites exceeded every expectation. From inquiry to execution, Chef Cody was professional, organized, and detail-oriented. The communication was fast and great, and the team's work was heartfelt. The food was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious—guests are still talking about the Jerk Chicken Mac & Cheese and espresso buttercream cake! Cody and his team went above and beyond what was on our invoice and threw in a few extra freebies, keeping their word. The team was punctual, polished, and made hosting stress-free.
