Private chef and culinary consultant for local restaurants. I've been providing on-site gourmet experiences and catering for many occasion in central Florida. ​ I hold a Serv-Safe Certification, Florida DBPR contracted food safety provider and -COI- certificate of insurance for third parties general liability.

We specialized in custom made formally plated dinners. Will work with you to make that dinner as special as the occasion deserves. During the past 20+ years I've been in the industry, we worked as a culinary arts teacher and private caterer. I'm passionate about Mexican & Mediterranean gastronomy, its cultural heritage, but have travel across the world to all continents to learn and respect many cuisines and their history.

    Daughter’s wedding

    We are so blessed to have found Chef David Taylor to create a wonderful menu for our daughter’s wedding. We had had a couple of tastings with event caterers and were so extremely disappointed with the lack of creativity and quality that it made us anxious. Luckily, we found Chef David who advertised being a private Chef vs. a caterer. He taught us the difference and boy was he right! He helped us put together a great menu and during the tasting, we experienced an incredible meal from appetizers to a three course high end meal. We opted for a surf and turf main dish and let me tell you…the steak was most tender and flavorful and scallops tasted out of this world! Not only were the dishes he made extremely delicious, but the presentation quite impressive. Chef David provides his experience, talent, responsiveness, and recommendations to make the vision we have for this special day a reality. We know our guests are going to be impressed by the presentation, quality of the meal, and enjoy the interactions with Chef and his staff. We are so excited about this upcoming wedding! I will update this review after the wedding event early next month!
