For over 30 years, DJ Denise LaCarubba | Vibeology IA has aligned with clients to create and present soundtracks for weddings, fashion shows, fundraisers, corporate, international and private events.

My life purpose is to spread love and light through music! Being a DJ allows me to help my clients manifest the day of their dreams, from a musical vantage. Guests enjoy a tastefully planned, classy yet elegant dinner party that morphs into a spirited, busy dance floor, everyone together, all in celebration of two people in love.

The Best!
Book this lady for your wedding! Denise is amazing. She's very sweet and professional, and her energy is exactly what you would want for a wedding. She's very passionate about what she does. She's thorough when going over the details because she wants to make sure she is able to give you exactly what you want with your music and your timeline. I think she played everything on our list, along with some extras that she knew would fit the music we wanted. I absolutely loved working with her. If I ever end up needing a DJ for other events in the future, I will reach out to hire her for all of them. I would even pay to fly her out to Europe to DJ our 2nd wedding next year!

Vibe-Maker to the Gods!!!
What can we say about Denise other than throughout our whole wedding planning process up until the last song of the night, she was the most professional, sweetest, and most amazing DJ we could've ever asked for. She's an amazing collaborator and not only played every song we wanted but made our day so special as music lovers. Our dance floor at the wedding was always packed, and I (the bride) couldn't get off the dance floor. She was super professional when it came to requests and always asked my husband and me before playing them. If you're looking for a DJ, book Denise immediately because she will treat your wedding day with as much sentiment and excitement as you!

Top Tier Entertainer!
Denise was an absolute JOY to work with for my wedding! From our very first contact, it was clear that she's a consummate professional with a true passion for her work, who makes her clients feel heard and cared for. Throughout the planning process, she was in tune with all of our needs and preferences (no small feat when the bride and groom are both musicians with strong opinions), and day-of she knocked it out of the park with her taste and talent. Her thoughtful programming, fabulous emcee skills, and ability to read the room ensured that guests had a marvelous time throughout the entire evening. I would strongly recommend her to anybody looking to throw a top-notch event!

Wedding personality for the stars!
Denise is AMAZING!!!! I had the absolute pleasure working with her at a wedding in Boston last month and let me tell you! She has the sweetest personality, so much energy and kept the music going without skipping a beat! If you are looking for a charismatic person to lead the party and shower you with love, look no further :)

I cannot recommend this Lady DJ enough!
Denise is amazing! During our DJ search for our wedding, my (now) husband and I came across Denise very early in our search. And I’m so happy that we did! Faced with the fact that we needed to find someone who would get (and keep) both of our dance-happy families on the dance floor, it was daunting to find the perfect fit for us and for the celebration to follow. We had to rely heavily on reviews to narrow down our search…but that only gets you so far when you want to feel the energy. In a leap of faith, we reached out to Denise. After that first meeting, we never looked back! It was easy to just spend time talking to Denise. She was our hype-lady from day one, working with our schedules from planning to the meticulous execution of the wedding day. She was patient with our indecisiveness on which instrumental version of our procession song we wanted (weeks of samples, back and forth, and for us to ultimately pick the first version she shared). As a planner, I very much appreciated Denise’s attention to detail. She combed through every detail with us well beforehand, so that she didn’t have any questions the day of the wedding. I cannot recommend this Lady DJ enough! She helped make our day so special and effortlessly kept people on the dance floor until the lights came on.

Typically, I wear formal black, like a gown with a fitted jacket. If the event calls for a themed costume, I'm open and ready! I'm flexible to the client's specifications.

Yes, absolutely! I always keep the client's designated do-not-play request list on hand, close by, and guests will always respect that (client wishes) when making such requests.

Yes, I do both! I'd work with the client to custom-design the ambiance desired for both the ceremony and cocktails. This could entail being set up in two physically separate locations, too. I can work with the client to execute music for separate locations.

Yes, I am. I do have full liability insurance. I always ask the venue contact if a copy needs to be presented in our initial meetings/conversations.

As early as allowed! Since I work solo, I ask the venue contact if allowed as early as possible (typically 2 or more hours before guest arrival). This ensures that music is on and playing for early guest arrival (or first look), that equipment is esthetically ready (cords under skirts, setup clean) and provides me time to change into formal clothing for the evening.

For events within a 50 mile radius of Boston, MA, there is no charge for travel and breakdown (it is included in the price). Please inquire for a travel fee for your custom event. For some events, an overnight hotel room in room block may be requested, if event is 100+ miles away from Boston.
