Velvet & Lace Events was an absolute joy to work with for our wedding! From the very first interaction, the team was friendly, easy to work with, and incredibly supportive of our vision. On the day of, they brought the best looking, most energetic lighting package that really set the perfect mood and got all our guests dancing. The whole team was great to work with and we couldn't be happier with how they contributed to making our special day so memorable. They were very detailed, checked in with us throughout the day, and truly made us feel like the most important couple. I would highly recommend Velvet & Lace Events to any couple looking for an amazing DJ and lighting experience.

Yes!!
Velvet & Lace Events was an excellent choice for our wedding DJ and band. Their communication style was super easy - they have a very thorough form that allowed us to clearly communicate exactly what we wanted for our big day. We definitely felt that the DJ really enhanced both the ceremony and the party afterwards, through dinner and into the dancing. When we needed to shift things in a different direction, Tucker, the DJ, really adapted and was able to meet all of our wants and desires. The music absolutely made it so much more fun and lively for our guests. Overall, we were thrilled with the value and quality of Velvet & Lace Events and would highly recommend them to any couple planning their wedding.

Erik was an amazing choice for our wedding DJ. From the very first conversation, he was incredibly professional and helpful, guiding us through all the details to ensure our special day was a success. The quality of work was simply the best - the setup looked amazing with great lighting, and he kept our dance floor packed all night long. Everyone had so much fun celebrating with us! The best DJ!
Velvet & Lace Events was the perfect choice for our wedding entertainment. Erik and his team had a wonderful communication style - they were always clear, friendly, happy, and calm throughout the entire planning process. The quality of their work was outstanding - they were proactive, punctual, friendly, caring, and kind. Erik was amazing, and despite a few delays during our wedding due to other vendors we hired, he handled everything with patience and flexibility so that nobody was the wiser and the day went so smoothly. The music was perfect and had everyone dancing all night long. We are so grateful to Erik and Velvet & Lace for helping to make our special day truly unforgettable.

Our Wedding Day
Velvet & Lace Events was the perfect choice for our wedding. From the beginning, the communication was friendly, detailed, and caring - they truly listened to what we wanted and worked hard to make it happen. The quality of their work and value was exceptional - they kept the dance floor packed all night with fun, thoughtful, and professional music curation. They came prepared, handled all the announcements seamlessly to get everyone excited, and played all our favorite songs. They even made suggestions we hadn't thought of that really helped the day flow smoothly. We start by learning about your vision, then work together to plan music, timeline, and any special requests. I stay in close contact up until your event date to ensure everything aligns with your needs.

With eight years in weddings and events, I've completed training courses with top DJs, mastering techniques like beat matching, phrasing, and mixing in key. I’ve DJed a range of events, from weddings and corporate gatherings to children's parties and everything in between. I'm committed to continuous learning and regularly update my music library to stay current and provide the best experience for my clients.

My passion for music and creating great experiences led me to DJing. I combined that with my background in event & project management to launch Velvet & Lace Events.

I've worked with couples for weddings, as well as clients hosting corporate events, private parties, and other celebrations.

I recently DJed a beautiful wedding that took about three months to plan. During this time, I collaborated closely with the couple to create a personalized playlist and crafted a custom mashup for their first dance. We also incorporated interactive moments with guests, such as a fun "shoe game" where the couple answered questions about each other, bringing laughter and heartfelt moments to the celebration. Witnessing the joy on the couple’s faces and the energy of their friends and family made this event truly unforgettable. Moments like this remind me why I love what I do.
