Silver & Strings Trio

Robin Tryon holds Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from Bowling Green State University and the University of Akron and served for 30 years as adjunct professor of flute at the University of Mount Union. Dr. Elaine Anderson is a professor of music at the University of Mount Union. She holds Doctoral, Master’s, and Bachelor’s degrees in ‘cello performance, theory, and string education. Brent Schloneger holds a Masters degree in Piano Performance from Kent State University, has won first place in both piano solo and duo competitions, and currently works as a staff accompanist at the University of Mount Union.

The same three musicians of the Silver & Strings Trio have performed together for many years, which contributes to a consistent, more polished and professional performance. We are unique in that we are a small ensemble that can play acoustically in a small area, or can fill a large venue with our own amplification. For wedding ceremonies, we have our own music coordinator who assists the wedding party in knowing when it is time for each group to process and making sure that the communication is seamless.

    An absolute joy to work with

    From the very beginning, working with this strings trio was an absolute joy. They played beautiful Christian music for our ceremony, and it was clear how much care and intention went into every piece and this truly meant so much to us. The music was emotional, elegant, and perfectly set the tone for our wedding. So many guests commented on how moving and special it was.     Green Wedding at Gervasi Vineyard

    Fabulous and Amazing
