Violinist

Mateja Violin is a wedding musician based in Pompano Beach, Florida. She performs acoustic violin only. Mateja is a graduate of the Frost School of Music at the University of Miami, where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in violin performance. She also has a Master’s degree in violin performance from Florida International University. She has and continues to perform with many different orchestras, including the Symphony of the Americas, the South Florida Symphony, and Orchestra Delray. She has played at two concerts with The Who as well. This professional delights in providing elegant music to your special day, helping to elevate the occasion.

I performed customized playlist that requested songs, my song list includes hundreds of songs from each genre. I have a positive attitude, I always arrive early to performances, and I can fit any aesthetic for your special day.

So worth it!

Great musician and fun
We hired Mateja Violin to play during our cocktail hour and reception, and she was a dream to work with from start to finish. Beautiful music for our wedding ceremony
We hired Mateja to play violin at our wedding ceremony, and she was a pleasure to work with from start to finish. Her communication was prompt and professional, and she offered a wide selection of songs to choose from, which made it easy to curate a meaningful playlist for our day. She arrived early, was fully prepared, and followed all our cues perfectly throughout the ceremony. The acoustic violin created a beautiful atmosphere, especially during the quiet moments of the processional. However, due to the open-air nature of our courtyard venue, some of the music—particularly during the recessional—was harder to hear until we walked closer to her. This is something to keep in mind depending on your venue's layout. That said, Mateja’s performance was elegant and heartfelt, and her professionalism truly stood out. We'd absolutely recommend her to any couple looking to add a romantic, live music touch to their ceremony.
