Founder

Rebecca Kaltz founded the Horizon Strings Group in Ann Arbor, Michigan back in 2006. Rebecca has been playing weddings since she was ten years old, when her church pastor's daughter got married and she was hired to play, so she has a long history of performing in church, weddings and all types of events. Providing beautiful music throughout Michigan. Solo, duo, trio or quartet available. Professional musicians and a wide variety of repertoire to choose from, we've been playing together since 2006!

We can play pretty much anything! We've been playing together for 15 years. We love what we do and want to make your event memorable. Duo, trio or quartet available Solo as well We have great arrangements and are all highly qualified with multiple music degrees in performance, chamber music and pedagogy.

    Easy and Breezy!

    I am so appreciative of how easy it was to work with Horizon Strings. Rebecca was so fast and efficient with communicating. I requested a new song, it was played beautifully. She was helpful and flexible when our planned changed to an outdoor ceremony. They arrived on time and I had NO worries on wedding day! They were very reasonably priced as well. Although I missed most of the songs they played being the bride, I am looking forward to hearing the results on our video!

    Wedding String Trio

    Having a string trio from Horizon Strings Group was one thing we will never regret including in our wedding ceremony. Communication and prep was very easy. Easy and prompt emails with the group, then pick your songs (we even requested a new song and they learned it beautifully!), give day of location/time/instructions type info, and they do the rest. As the bride and groom, it was completely hands off on our wedding day, which was perfect, and the music at the ceremony was wonderful.
