Melting faces is Maskell's passion with a background in DC nightclubs, but his expertise extends far beyond simply rocking the dancefloor after dinner. In addition to DJing hundreds of weddings over 20+ years, he has worked extensively as a wedding coordinator and works closely with clients to ensure that the day flows smoothly.

Full wedding day coverage with no charge for addons and extras. If DJ Maskell owns it, can fit it in the van, and it's practical to do without a production crew, it's included in the flat rate. Available within 12hrs driving of Washington DC when practical.

Travel more than 12hrs from DC
Price$4,500
For destinations beyond the 12-hour driving radius from Washington DC, DJ Maskell will fly out for weddings and can rent/hire production equipment at the destination as needed. Below are some recent quotes and bookings, for full ceremony, cocktail, dinner coverage plus uplighting, and is inclusive of all expenses (such as flight, hotel, local equipment rental, vehicle rental, hiring local stage crew, and the base fee for my services).

Must Have DJ!!
I could not recommend DJ Mark Maskell more! If I could give him more than 5 stars I would. From our first zoom he was extremely professional and obviously loves his job and wants to make the day special for each couple. He turned our reception into the most fun dance party better than we imagined. He provides cocktail hour playlists, the most beautiful lighting and dance floor lighting to set the mood for the venue. Everyone had a blast, thanks to his amazing DJing with his incredible playlists and his ability to read the room. He even took pictures of our first dance, parents dances and electric dance floor moments that were so fun to see the next day! DJ Maskell is an all-around fantastic person to work with. We canāt recommend him enough! If you want someone who genuinely cares about making your wedding or event unforgettable, DJ Maskell is the the perfect fit! I would hire him again and again!!

Mark Maskell was absolutely incredible. Even though we had an all-inclusive venue, he was my one non-negotiable outside vendor from the very beginning. As someone who has been to a million weddings and genuinely loves music and going out, I hate cheesy wedding music and forced line dancing. Mark was the only DJ whose bio openly said that if you are looking for that vibe, he is not the DJ for you. That honesty alone sold me. From the start, Mark went far above and beyond what was included in our contract. He spent countless hours helping us curate our wedding timeline, reviewing my very Type A spreadsheets, and offering thoughtful guidance. He honestly felt more like a second wedding planner than just a DJ during the planning process. And the lights. The lighting setup and light show were unreal and completely elevated the entire experience. Mark truly curates the music and the atmosphere to you as a couple, not just a generic wedding crowd. On top of all that, he is just a genuinely wonderful human. Easy to connect with, great dark humor, ADHD energy that matched ours perfectly. He is someone I would happily hang out with on a random Tuesday. Our dance floor vibes were immaculate, and we were the only wedding I have ever attended that did not have a single technical issue on the DJās end. Truly flawless execution. 10/10 would recommend to literally anyone who wants their wedding to feel intentional, fun, and actually cool.

Absolutely incredible!
DJ Maskell was amazing! Super easy to chat with, and we loved his energy. He read the room perfectly while still keeping our music preferences in mind. The lighting he set up was incredible and really elevated the entire vibe. As one guest put it, āYOUR DJ WAS COOKIN' ALL NIGHT!ā He created such a fun, warm atmosphere that the dance floor was never empty. You can tell he has a real passion for weddings and a deep knowledge of the entire processāit showed in how smoothly he worked with us and all of the other vendors. We couldnāt have asked for anyone better to get the party started!

DJ Maskell was absolutely incredible! From start to finish, he was so organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about his work. He totally understood the vibe we wanted and knew exactly how to read the room. Every transition and song choice was spot-on.
