As a full-time wedding photographer, I work with venues all over the southwest and around the country. My experience with the Siouxzen and the team there was top-notch! Not only does the venue provide an incredibly unique southwestern vibe with gorgeous white stucco, wood beams on the ceiling, traditional adobe fireplace, and antique-feeling furniture throughout. The staff from the bartenders to the banquet team and coordinators of course were so willing to serve and assist the entire day. And don't even get me started on the views there. Sheesh. If you're looking for a boutique southwestern venue for your elevated event you'd look no further! Much love for this place and its staff.

Taos Henna Co
Rating: 5.0 (1 review)
  • Beauty professional
  • Team of 1
  • Starts at $150
  • Serves San Cristobal, NM

I create exquisite mehndi designs, transforming weddings and destination celebrations in Santa Fe, Taos, and Northern New Mexico into living works of art. Every design is crafted to honor your love story, cultural heritage and the joy of your special day. I have had the honor to adorn Brides, Grooms, their families and guests from Hindu, Jewish, Muslim, Parsi, Jain, Sikh and Christian backgrounds witnessing them celebrate traditions from South Asia all the way to the Middle east. And I have learned so much from this privilege.

Pooja provided thorough and prompt communication throughout the booking process and also on the day of coordination. The quality of their work and value was also very good, her mehendi work was fast and my color came out dark, it’s what you expect for the lady sangeet. She did exactly what I liked and it looked so pretty when the mehendi came out. I also used her for the day of coordination, her suggestions worked out very well and I really enjoyed my marriage and didn’t have to focus on set up or coordination if anything. She helped me with the timeline too, and I am so happy that we decided to use her service because she knows about the culture and people here in Santa Fe for my destination wedding. stink was my wedding day. Actually we were having a hard time for the mandap and she also suggested someone from the native villages. I didn't have to worry about a thing, she is trustworthy. I highly recommend Pooja, she is professional, good quality of work and well connected.

Hotel Luna Mystica was the perfect venue for our wedding. The staff was friendly and laid-back, which helped keep us relaxed on our big day. Flower Moxie – Do-It-Yourself Wedding Flowers
Rating: 4.9 (78 reviews)
  • Florist
  • Starts at $350
  • Serves San Cristobal, NM

In 2013, 8-year wedding veteran Amy McCord Jones realizes she wouldn't be able to afford to hire her own floral services if she was a bride. Then, Amy discovers that there is basically zero help available for DIY brides. No flower recipes. No instructions. No access to florist-grade blooms. Rude. So she launches Flower Moxie! Flower Moxie remains a humble, tucked-away small business out of Oklahoma City. We don’t zoom around on scooters in some fancy high-rise. We stock an average kitchen with canned wine and Aldi chips and listen to true crime podcasts while photographing curvy ranunculus. Join us. There’s cake, hugs, and acceptance here.

Awarded Best of Zola
I ordered the "peaches and cream" small package. We decided to skip on ceremony florals, and only have handhelds and bud vases at the reception. We did buy a few more flowers from the grocery to add more peach once the flowers arrived. We made and medium sized bridal bouquet, 4 bridesmaids bouquets, 3 corsages, and 7 bouts. (With lots of flowers left over). My bridesmaids and I did the arranging the morning before the wedding; it was fun, and a great start to the weekend. None of us had experience, but it all turned out great! If you or your bridal party are mildly crafty, I'd highly recommend it!

I didn’t even know where to begin! Choosing to work with Vic was hands down one of the best decisions we made for our engagement. Since my partner and I don’t really use social media, we’re not exactly selfie pros—in fact, we’re pretty awkward in front of the camera. That’s why we knew we needed a professional to capture this special moment, and let me tell you, Vic was amazing. As someone who had no clue how to pose, I was so grateful for her expert guidance. She made the entire experience feel effortless, and our photos turned out absolutely stunning—timeless, elegant, and so full of emotion. I never imagined I’d actually enjoy taking photos, but Vic made it such a fun and memorable experience! Beyond her incredible skills behind the camera, she was also a fantastic adviser when it came to choosing locations, and her warm, friendly personality made us feel completely at ease. We loved her so much, and I truly can’t recommend her enough. Writing this review is making me emotional because I’m just so grateful that she was our photographer. Thank you, Vic!!

A Cotton candy sunset peppered by patio string-lights as a DJ plays my favorite song. We all have timeless memories logged in our minds. For me, they are based in a language of light.
