Ladybird Lusk
Rating: 5.0 (6 reviews)
Salida, CO
  • Florist

Hi! My name is Ysabella and I have been in the florist industry for 4 years now. I started out of my small shop and have grown into doing mostly weddings and events. I love working with brides and helping them turn their vision into reality! Every wedding is so unique and truly different, these small differences are what I believe makes each wedding stand out and what I am here for!

Ysabella made my colorful, disco ball flower dreams come true! She went above an beyond and had so much fun with the theme. I shipped her some disco ball vases and then she went all out making this fun whimsical theme a reality. The bouquets were all unique and stunning and full of color, and the table centerpieces and ceremony pieces were outstanding. She was so fun to work with, highly recommend!

  • Documentary style
  • Starts at $1,250

Our team has a combined 20 years of experience in storytelling, marketing and wedding film. We LOVE love. For weddings within the Arkansas Valley (Leadville, BV, Salida, and Cotopaxi area) we are offering a Ceremony Only Special for couples who wanted video but don't necessarily have the bandwidth for a full wedding film.

Polilla Film was an absolute pleasure to work with for our wedding videography. Sarah has such a friendly and warm communication style. Her creative eye and romantic approach truly shines through in the final video she produced, which was above and beyond. Sarah has a way of blending into the background to capture all the important moments, while still contributing her positive energy. The final video is a beautiful reflection of our personality as a couple, and we are thrilled with the quality of Polilla Film's work. She was so calm in the chaos of getting ready and I appreciated how she made me feel beautiful without being too overdone. Originally from Texas and now calling Colorado home, I’m a wedding photographer who’s all about capturing love stories in a warm, true-to-color, storytelling way that feels real, joyful, and timeless. Gracyee and her husband are extremely communicative and they do amazing work! I’m working with her for my wedding and couldn’t be more excited!! My fiancé and I are very new to getting professional photos but she had made it such an exciting experience and we couldn’t be happier!!

The flow through the different spaces is really well thought out, and guests naturally relaxed and settled in. It felt elegant and inviting, and we absolutely loved the overall atmosphere. Daylene Wilson Photographic
Rating: 5.0 (1 review)
  • Photographer
  • Classic style
  • Starts at $6,000
  • Serves Salida, CO

I have been a Colorado wedding photographer for 12 years and I still love it! I am based out of Buena Vista Colorado and shoot epic mountain weddings and in the winter I travel to Baja Mexico for beach weddings. I have two beautiful little girls and love any outdoor adventure you can throw my way.

Daylene is as thoughtful and attentive a wedding photographer you could ever ask for! We booked Daylene for our fall Buena Vista, CO wedding at the Surf Hotel and couldn't be happier with the experience of collaborating with her every step of the way. During the months leading up to our big day, Daylene diligently reached out to us to plan and scout for specific locations and shots we were looking for, all mixed in with recommendations from weddings she had previously worked at our venue. On the day of the wedding itself, Daylene found the all best ways to engage and bring out the personalities of not just the bride and groom, but everyone that found themselves in front of her camera. She flawlessly kept us on time and on task and found every perfect moment to showcase the best parts of our relationship and our wedding day. The end result was a wonderful collection of a thousand photos that perfectly captured the elements of our wedding story, the venue, our friends and family, and the natural beauty of the locale. We love to revisit the photos and slideshow we recieved from time to time because the photos are just that spectacular. Daylene's hard work, dedication, and eagerness to go the extra mile while providing an exceptional experience cannot be emphasized enough - if we had it all to do over we would undoubtedly pick her again!

Heather Barron, Mountain Officiant

  • Offers 9 ceremony types
  • Starts at $350
  • Serves Salida, CO

Step into a world where your love takes center stage and every moment is infused with meaning and connection. As your Marriage Celebrant and professional Wedding Officiant, I provide you with a unique blend of services that go beyond helping you say, “I do” and signing a legal piece of paper. Your ceremony will be one-of-a-kind and celebrate your love and bond. Afraid of being in the spotlight? We will create a ceremony that feels like a sweet, intimate conversation (regardless of # of guests). As a Marriage Support Coach, I also offer packages with tools & guidance to give you, as a couple, a path to a strong, resilient and joyful marriage.

Heather was so amazing to work with. I kept telling people that if I could only hire one vendor for the whole wedding, it would be Heather. For us, it was the most important part of the day, so we wanted to make sure it was in good hands, but she helped me realize how truly important it is to have an experienced professional run the ceremony. She helped shape the ceremony for us and asked us meaningful questions that made us dive deeper into our relationship. She's extremely experienced with weddings, so she was even able to give extremely useful day-of advice as well. We kept hearing from guests how amazing and thoughtful the ceremony was. Some said it felt like a vow renewal for all the married couples there. We are so grateful for Heather!

Rocky Mountain Films
Rating: 5.0 (1 review)
  • Videographer
  • Starts at $2,800

With Rocky Mountain Films I aim to create wedding films that capture not just the day's motion, but the emotion. Starting with this beautiful rocky mountain landscape and building a story that combines visual expression and crisp audio, you'll be able to relive the day in sharp detail, or make others feel like they were there. Preserved in 4K and edited without following trends, you can expect this wedding film to last a lifetime.

Ben was very easy to work with from beginning to end and was very inconspicuous on our day. Our highlight film is just what we'd hoped for and the extended cut allows us to relive the day in full every anniversary. Would definitely recommend Rocky Mountain Films!

We loved using Something Borrowed Blooms for our wedding flowers. We used them for my bridal bouquet, bridesmaid bouquets, and extra flower bunches to decorate around our venue, and everything turned out beautifully. I even purchased my bridal bouquet so I could display it forever, and it still looks just as stunning. Everyone kept commenting on how realistic and well put together the flowers looked, even more so than some real flower arrangements we’ve seen. It was such a relief not to have to worry about keeping anything in water or paying the high price of fresh florals. The flowers arrived at our venue a few days early, and the return process afterward was incredibly easy. I would recommend Something Borrowed Blooms to any bride who wants a beautiful, stress-free floral option!

Flower and oak were absolutely amazing. They showed up extremely early for our event and we had the highest premium package ordered for the day. We had a couple specific shoot ideas for THE GROOMSMEN and the minute I walked in the front door. I was greeted by both videographers With all kinds of cool camera gear and they told us exactly what to do and there was no time wasted. I highly recommend flower and oak to anyone looking at getting married soon. The one thing I don’t regret about our wedding day is using them because they were so great. Flower Moxie – Do-It-Yourself Wedding Flowers
Rating: 4.9 (78 reviews)
  • Florist
  • Starts at $350
  • Serves Salida, CO

In 2013, 8-year wedding veteran Amy McCord Jones realizes she wouldn't be able to afford to hire her own floral services if she was a bride. Then, Amy discovers that there is basically zero help available for DIY brides. No flower recipes. No instructions. No access to florist-grade blooms. Rude. So she launches Flower Moxie! Flower Moxie remains a humble, tucked-away small business out of Oklahoma City. We don’t zoom around on scooters in some fancy high-rise. We stock an average kitchen with canned wine and Aldi chips and listen to true crime podcasts while photographing curvy ranunculus. Join us. There’s cake, hugs, and acceptance here.

Working with Flower Moxie - Do-It-Yourself Wedding Flowers was a fantastic experience. Their communication style was encouraging, clear and direct, and consistently positive throughout the process. The quality of their work and value provided was exceptional - the flowers we received were absolutely gorgeous, and their helpful tutorials made it easy for us to prepare everything for the wedding. My daughter loved her beautiful wedding bouquet and the way all the centerpieces for the reception turned out. We did have a few minor glitches with the delivery, but Alexa was *so* responsive and helpful, providing tracking information and overnighting replacement flowers when the colors weren't what we expected. Her fast response time and practical support made the whole experience really positive. We're very grateful for the value and care we received from Flower Moxie!

Tomi Photopositive
Rating: 5.0 (69 reviews)
  • Photographer
  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $2,500
  • Serves Salida, CO

Hello, I'm Tomi, a Wedding Photographer with over 500+ weddings under my belt. I live in Broomfield, Colorado with my amazing wife and my dog Teddy. I capture authentic, creative and emotionally driven wedding moments. My photography style has a mixture of unique candid photos combined with some traditionally posed shots, all edited with the more warm and true-to-life color editing style.

Awarded Best of Zola
We booked Tomi Photopositive for our October 2024 wedding in Genesee Park, Colorado, and got exactly what all of his other perfect reviews rave about; Relentless compassion and positivity, regular and professional communication, timeliness in every regard, and of course an amazing collection of photos we get to cherish for the rest of our lives. We struggled to find an affordable photographer for our simple and small wedding. Some quotes came in exorbitantly high. One even wanted us to sign a contract before we could even schedule a virtual meet & greet to see if we'd all vibe. We found Tomi on Wedding wire, and we loved his portfolio (and his pricing almost seemed too good to be true based on his work), so we reached out. We set up a zoom call, and it was clear right away that Tomi loves what he does, and that he cares about his clients. This initial meeting was everything a nervous couple could hope for, it silenced much of the fear of booking someone we knew very little about. Though not included in the wedding photography package, we booked an engagement session with Tomi. I am so glad we did! It was worth every penny! Aside from great photos themselves, it gave us a good feel for how he works ahead of the wedding. Plus, it was fun, and we got some great shots! Tomi will go out of his way for his clients. One example is that he had never been to our venue (Chief Hosa Lodge - if you're looking for a wedding of 35-65 guests) before, so he went to the venue before the wedding to get a feel for all the best spots. He did this on his own time, and did not charge us extra for it. While we had originally hoped for a sunny day and sunset photos overlooking the mountains, we got snow and fog. Tomi seized the opportunity and turned the "disappointing" weather into one of the more memorable aspects of our day. For any couple who is considering not using a photographer, we strongly caution against it. we originally wanted to go that route or was looking for someone cheap (1000). However, finding Tomi was a blessing from God, and his pricing is more than worth it! His photos are eons better than anything you could hope for from an amateur photographer or cell phone grab. And seeing the final polished photos a couple months after the fact is like getting to experience your special day all over again. If you're still reading this, stop and book him. You will not be disappointed.

The photographer, videographer, and photo booth was absolutely perfect and our guests had a blast! However, even after going through the work of submitting a Spotify play list and adding do not play songs or DJ played the wrong version of our first dance song (I checked and we had the correct version listed on our playlist we sent over), he also played songs from our do not play list to the point I, the bride, came over to ask if he had the wrong list. He admitted he was using songs from the do not play list as he was not paying attention. I would also like to note, though our wedding was more casual, our DJ was dressed in a sloppy manner. His shirt was half untucked from his pants, there were stains on his shirt and pants. Besides a few hiccups, direct Entertainment was wonderful to work with!

Lacie was absolutely phenomenal to work with throughout the entire wedding planning process. From the moment we jumped on a phone call to see if they were a right fit, I knew they would be. Her enthusiasm, understanding, outgoing way that she relates to people is an energy that you want on your big day. Our engagement session was incredible, she moves so quickly but efficiently, as to ensure you get all the shots you want, but is very mindful of time. Our wedding day was COMPLETE because of Lacie. In addition to her positive attitude, she helped smooth the timeline of events during the day when exterior factors were impacting the photography, and problem solved so wonderfully on the spot. She stepped in to help in moments that were above and beyond what we hired her for, and for that I am truly grateful. Her photography style is versatile and beautiful, specifically catered to your preference. I can't imagine a better photographer for our wedding and we are so grateful!

The entire experience from when we booked with them to our wedding day was stress free. They directed us on how to pose and worked really well with the other vendors we had that day. The pictures came out looking amazing. They are really amazing at what they do. I would recommend them to anyone that's looking for a great team to capture their special day.

Believe it or not, we often have people ask if our pictures throughout our website are showing a mix of fresh and faux and…no they aren’t! Although fresh florals are pretty, we are totally in love with poser-blooms all the way here and that’s what we design 100% of our orders with.

The Faux Bouquets was an exceptional choice for our wedding flowers. From the very first interaction, their communication was efficient and professional, making the planning process seamless. The team at The Faux Bouquets was highly detail-oriented, crafting extraordinary, beautiful floral arrangements that perfectly complemented our wedding day. Having a first look allowed me to see the flowers ahead of time and make any small tweaks I wanted. The end result was simply stunning - my bouquet and the ceremony decor were absolutely breathtaking. I cannot recommend The Faux Bouquets highly enough for their top-notch service and exquisite work.
