Nailah Browne, a native of St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands, first became interested in baking from her grandmother, who had a side business. Browne later completed the bakery program at Manatee Technical College. Browne and Selene Martinez met and became friends at IMG Academy, where Browne was the head baker and that's how StackD Cake Studio was born. At Stack’d Cake Studio, the customer directs how they want their cake built, from cake and size, to flavor of buttercream, filling and toppings.

I started my career working in Catering Sales at an upscale Country Club. During my time in this career, I did my best to learn the industry and gain knowledge of how food and beverage runs on the backside of an event as well as how to accurately run an event timeline. During my time at the Country Club, I assisted with nearly 450 weddings plus hundreds of other non-ceremonial events. Although this career required a lot of invested time, I am forever grateful for all that I've learned and have been able to keep with me during my own event planning. After departing from the Country Club, my husband and I started our own little family.
