Being trained and having worked in Michelin starred restaurants, I learned how to make all sorts of frozen confections. That shaped me in creating Nepita, an artisan ice cream pop up shop offering flavors inspired by the Mediterranean!

Milk Bar is a sweet (and occasionally savory) shop that’s been turning familiar treats upside down and on their heads, shaking up the dessert scene since 2008. Bon Appetit magazine called us “one of the most exciting bakeries in the country.” But you can literally just call us Milk Bar. We’re not big on feeding the hype beast. But we’re super into feeding our flavorful treats to those who crave the unexpected.

Handmade with love and the best ingredients in NYC since 1995. We bake fresh and ship same-day, so cookies arrive ready to enjoy (though we recommend warming them in the oven for that famous gooey center).

Everything served at Empire Cake is made fresh daily on the premises using the finest ingredients, including fresh butter and cream from quality local producers, pure whole vanilla beans, Belgian chocolate, and fresh seasonal produce from the Union Square Greenmarket. The Evercake concept started as I was ordering flowers online while skimming Pinterest for my toddler's birthday cake. I wanted a beautiful cake that I could add to a cart and have delivered. Why didn't this exist? A few months later, The Evercake was born. We are different in that we are strictly buttercream based (no overworked fondant here). Our recipes are tried and true, slightly less sweet, and with designs aimed to be worthy of your celebrations. We don't have a traditional storefront with overhead to worry about it, which means we don't have to mark up our cakes to account for this.

Daniel Colonel loves telling stories through dessert. As a child, he was fascinated with food and always interested how it was made. He took his love for food, and sweet tooth to the Culinary Institute of America where he graduated in Baking and Pastry Management. Daniel's favorite part of the process is connecting with the couple and getting to know their love story. Wedding cakes with sugar flowers are his specialty but during the pandemic, he has began other sweet ventures including mini premium desserts that are served in cones and cookie boxes.
