I was the student who had no idea what she wanted to do after High School. As my peers were applying to college with a clear career path in mind, I struggled to choose just one route. I could see myself in so many roles, and yet none of them fit JUST right. In 2011, my son was born and a new path appeared on my map: Motherhood. This role took over and nothing else mattered. The year progressed and my son grew, and grew and grew some more. I bought my first DSLR to document that rapidly growing boy of mine. It wasn't long before those peers from high school came to me to document their lives as well, and my career path was finally chosen.

Our Venue is Family Owned and Operated. Located in Newark Ohio on 29 wooded acres and open field. We feature a stocked pond for fishing, a bridal and groom suite as well as a prep kitchen. The Barns main room is 5300 square feet and will seat 250-300 guests. The outdoor patio area is covered featuring a fire table and barrel tables. There are multiple ceremony locations and tables and chairs are included in your rental. You may bring your own food and drinks and alcohol is permitted with the purchase of event insurance.

Linnet's Flowers started in East Central Ohio, and we had so many requests for wedding floral work from Central Ohio that in 2012 we opened our second location in Newark Ohio. We are the Boswell family. Wolf Run Acres is concept that came about after hosting our daughters weddings and struggling to find the country setting they wanted. After hosting one on this site under a tent we rented, we decided this is a beautiful setting for a wedding venue. We wanted to give our guests a beautiful dream country wedding, but design it to be more industrial and modern and less rustic than comparable venues. Our hope is to give each couple, a unique, beautiful setting while ensuring they have the wedding of their dreams. We work with each couple from the time we meet them through their day, making sure we meet all their needs and coordinating with their vendors to ensure they have as stress free and enjoyable day as possible.

Our barn is over 100 years old and we added on a new barn onto it. Together they can seat up to 200 people for a wedding reception. We have added beautiful bistro lighting so not a lot of additional decorating is needed. You have your choice of 4 different outdoor ceremony sites. A grain bin gazebo on a stamped cement pad with bistro lighting is available to be used as a ceremony site or the setting for cocktail hour / outdoor bar. The bridal party has the admissions barn to use for wedding prep and the room on the back of our new restroom building is where the groomsmen can get ready in.
