Every single person we talked to from Lindsay Mackey, their amazing manger and our first contact to the hotel-block assistant was a joy to work with, communicative and helpful. The workbook, spreadsheets, and connections with other coordinators and vendors made the whole wedding planning process more enjoyable and streamlined. We chose the Day of Coordination and are very grateful to have had Hanh as our wedding coordinator! Hanh is worth her weight in gold! With Day of Coordination we received not only ten hours of custom coordination from the wonderfully efficient and empathic Hanh, we also had the help of her assistant. This was perfect because someone was by my and my husband’s throughout the day. I loved that with SEG we had a whole team of magnifically organized, thorough and compassionate individuals to support us in executing our dream wedding. Once we had submitted our information Lindsay contacted us to go over all of the things included in wedding planning. She created a rough draft of our day of timeline and gave us access to our Wedding Workbook. They have templates for everything you will need for organizing your wedding and making sure you do not miss out on important, but often overlooked details. Two months before our wedding date we were connected with Hanh. From our first meeting throughout the whole time before the wedding and for the duration of our wedding itself Hanh was both our wedding angel and ninja rolled all into one. I had done a lot of the initial setting up vendors, but as soon as she could she took over as my contact person. This meant the vendors had to email/reach out to Hanh and left me feeling like a weight had been lifted off my shoulders. From this point on I started to enjoy wedding planning.I love that she reached out to not only myself, but included my now husband and daughter in on a meeting. If there were any hiccups leading up to the wedding I did not know until they were already handled. On our wedding day, everything went smoothly for my husband and I and our family.Again if there were any mishaps my husband and I were oblivious of them and we had the best wedding ever! “Jaylynn is the most incredible wedding planner and person. Jaylynn truly is a professional, an artist, a visionary, and expert in all things wedding. She was truly the best decision that we made in the wedding planning. If you don't read any further than this, just know that you need to hire her for your wedding. In our early planning phases, we thought we could do it alone. But we quickly became stressed and overwhelmed with so many options and open questions. We interviewed Jaylynn and immediately fell in love with her warm and positive energy. It was an easy decision. Within a few months of working with Jaylynn, we found all of our amazing vendors. Our DJ, photo booth, hairstylist and baker came from Jaylynn. On our own, it would have taken months to find. With Jaylynn, it was a breeze. She introduced us to DJ Miss Haze, who is the most incredible DJ, and Nicole Bendig-Lamb, who made the most delicious cake. She also introduced us to Guiding Mountain Lion Dance, who gave us an unforgettable performance. These vendors were not only great at their craft, but also wonderful and kind people. Leading up to the wedding, Jaylynn resolved so many problems for us. The week of our wedding, a huge snow storm hit Colorado. She sprang into action, helping us to redo our timeline. We had to cancel our rehearsal dinner, so she helped us rehearse the day of the wedding, and got us into top shape in less than thirty minutes. We had an issue with a hairstylist, and she was able to talk to them and help us get a refund in less than 12 hours. The wedding day was perfect. Her team decorated the venue with so much eye for detail. She also designed our wedding website, signage, and much of our decor, and it was exactly what we wanted. The wedding day was perfectly smooth, despite the snow. It was such a joyful, perfect day. Many of my friends and family remarked on how incredible Jaylynn and her team were. We spent a little over a year planning for our big day in May, and were so excited to start meeting and planning with TGT a month out in April. From our very first call with Justine and Jenna, we knew that we were in good hands. Throughout the planning process, they proved to be incredibly dependable, organized, and meticulous, ensuring every detail was accounted for. Heather and Courtney brought a happy, thoughtful, and professional energy to every part of the process, and really helped bring the wedding together in a way that felt personal and seamless. Heather handled the florals, and she completely understood the feel I was going for — even when I only had a few reference photos and loose ideas. I sent her pictures of the Marin hills in bloom, and she created something beautiful and unique with that inspiration. The floral arch was stunning, and her idea to run wildflower-inspired arrangements down the center of the tables made it feel like guests were sitting in a field of flowers. She brought the florals to my parents house the next day for our brunch and we were thrilled that we could continue to enjoy the beauty she created. Courtney managed coordination and was incredibly organized and responsive throughout. She kept track of all the moving parts, made helpful suggestions for how to use the venue, and offered so much of her time — from emails to zoom calls and venue walk throughs. I’m so impressed that we were able to leave her with a truck load of decorations some loose instructions and arrived to the venue to find it was set up perfectly. “We first learned about Oso Events in the summer of 2022 while remotely planning our California wedding from the East Coast. From the very first introductory call, they blew us away with their professionalism, punctuality, warmth, organization, and excellence. Without them, our wedding would not have been nearly as amazing as it was! They found us fantastic vendors in the Bay Area like the food, HMUA, DJ, and server staffing company, organized our wedding day schedule, held regular video calls with us, got quotes from vendors, kept track of our budget and payment schedule with weekly updates, arranged set-up of the ceremony and reception venue, made sure our vendors got day-of tips, and more! The only thing that could be improved is that there was a specific deadline for event liability insurance that I and the planning team all missed initially. No harm was done though! The mistake was caught in time before it affected the event, and all went well! Michelle and Raymundo excellently identified what our energy levels as a newlywed couple would be like in the week leading up to the big event, and the day of the actual wedding. Raymundo directed our impromptu ceremony rehearsal, helping our officiant and party mark their places and signaling where/when we should stand and walk. Michelle checked in with the bride and the groom consistently throughout the night of the reception, asking if we needed water, food, or other drinks since we were often distracted by the festivities. They maintained effective communication leading up to and on the day of the wedding. Their decorations at the ceremony and reception were absolutely gorgeous and exactly what we wanted. At the end of the night, they managed takedown, and made sure all of the personal decorative items and remembrance photos we brought were conveniently all in the same box for us to take home. Through the yearlong process of planning, they dealt with last-minute logistical changes with incredible poise, and truly grounded us, allowing us to enjoy the day with free minds. The team even accommodated two of our guests who tested positive for COVID last-minute by setting up a separate table for them in the outdoor venue. We couldn't recommend them more highly. Not to mention, their BobaHolics boba bar was a huge hit and the photo booth was a lot of fun. We got a lot of mileage out of the sustainable decor inventory, which prevented us from having tons of wedding stuff on hand that we'd accumulate and need to resell after. The entire range of services offered by Oso is incredibly helpful and will make any event an absolute hit. We have loved working with the team and we’re so grateful they decided to take us on as clients at the start of their wedding planning journey.”

“We were initially introduced to Wilder Minds Events after one of our friends recommended them to us for wedding planning. Aside from deciding on my husband, choosing Wilder Minds event planners was the best decision I made for my wedding. We started working with Delaney and right off the bat I knew we made the right decision—Delaney was attentive and quick to respond to any texts/calls/questions we had, although I didn’t know exactly how right my decision was until much later. About a week before the wedding we were faced with some extremely difficult decisions to make because of hurricane Helene. How much does a wedding planner cost?

On average, a full-service wedding planner can cost between $3,000 and $10,000. It depends on where you live and where you’re getting married. Planners in areas with high costs of living, like New York City and San Francisco, may charge upwards of $20,000. If you’re having a destination wedding, consider using a planner local to the area—you’ll avoid paying extra for travel, accommodations, and meals. Day-of coordinators cost less. What do wedding planners do?

Think of wedding planners as jack-of-all-trades experts when it comes to weddings. Many offer different levels of service to meet your needs. If you just want day-of coordination, for example, your planner will be there to make sure your ceremony and reception go off without a hitch. This may mean setting up vendors or directing your wedding party and guests to make sure everyone is where they need to be at the right time. Should we get a wedding planner?
