We chose the Day of Coordination and are very grateful to have had Hanh as our wedding coordinator! Hanh is worth her weight in gold! With Day of Coordination we received not only ten hours of custom coordination from the wonderfully efficient and empathic Hanh, we also had the help of her assistant. This was perfect because someone was by my and my husband’s throughout the day. I loved that with SEG we had a whole team of magnifically organized, thorough and compassionate individuals to support us in executing our dream wedding. Once we had submitted our information Lindsay contacted us to go over all of the things included in wedding planning. She created a rough draft of our day of timeline and gave us access to our Wedding Workbook. They have templates for everything you will need for organizing your wedding and making sure you do not miss out on important, but often overlooked details. Two months before our wedding date we were connected with Hanh. From our first meeting throughout the whole time before the wedding and for the duration of our wedding itself Hanh was both our wedding angel and ninja rolled all into one. I had done a lot of the initial setting up vendors, but as soon as she could she took over as my contact person. This meant the vendors had to email/reach out to Hanh and left me feeling like a weight had been lifted off my shoulders. From this point on I started to enjoy wedding planning.I love that she reached out to not only myself, but included my now husband and daughter in on a meeting. If there were any hiccups leading up to the wedding I did not know until they were already handled. On our wedding day, everything went smoothly for my husband and I and our family.Again if there were any mishaps my husband and I were oblivious of them and we had the best wedding ever! “Where do I even start?! We had Hanna Marie Events for our Day of Coordinator, Content Creation, and we also did the Wedding Management Package. If I could go back, I would do the same thing over again! From the very beginning, Hanna felt like a friend. She’s incredibly sweet, down to earth, and is truly there to support you in creating the best day of your life. On top of that, she’s very knowledgeable, organized, and can probably answer any question you’d ever have. Throughout the planning process, I always felt supported. Hanna responds quickly to emails and was always in my corner helping me make the right decisions when I had no clue what I was doing. There’s no way our wedding would have turned out so seamless and beautiful if it wasn’t for HME. On our wedding day, everything went smoothly and beautifully. They were so on top of everything, they worked with the other vendors to make sure everyone was on the same page, it couldn’t have gone better. Having them there took off more stress than I can explain, and instead of worrying about random things, we got to enjoy our day and take in each moment. Lastly, content creation! We opted out of doing a videographer and instead chose content creation with HME. Best decision ever!!! She captured all the moments, big and small. “Working with the Oso team was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding! We actually hired them about 2 years in advance, so we got to work with them for a super long time! One of the biggest reasons that we wanted to hire Oso specifically was because of their decor inventory, which was 100% available to use at no additional cost with their full wedding planning package. Weddings can be extremely wasteful in terms of decor, so it was nice to be able to consciously be a bit more sustainable! We honestly ended up hiring Oso for so many other services as well — Michelle did an amazing job with our signage, they also have a great photobooth package, and Michelle’s sister owns Bobaholics so we were able to get a discounted rate for a boba bar! It really felt like a one-stop shop :) Michelle, Gen, Raymundo, and Gennie were all so helpful in coordinating with vendors and giving us wedding advice/guidance - working with them also gave us confidence that we weren’t missing any important steps or details of wedding planning. They were also available by text/email anytime, and they always responded extremely quickly, which I so appreciated! Talking to them felt more like talking to friends who were super passionate about wedding planning! On the actual day of the wedding, my husband and I felt so stress-free because of Oso - they seamlessly guided everyone to stay on schedule, had walkie talkies to communicate with each other, and constantly asked us if we needed any food/water/etc. They took care of passing out our vendor tips, and set up all of our decor with time to spare! “We were initially introduced to Wilder Minds Events after one of our friends recommended them to us for wedding planning. Aside from deciding on my husband, choosing Wilder Minds event planners was the best decision I made for my wedding. We started working with Delaney and right off the bat I knew we made the right decision—Delaney was attentive and quick to respond to any texts/calls/questions we had, although I didn’t know exactly how right my decision was until much later. About a week before the wedding we were faced with some extremely difficult decisions to make because of hurricane Helene. Our reception venue didn’t have power 24 hrs before the wedding and Delaney stepped up and was ready with several alternative options, providing us with peace of mind and reassurance every step of the way that she would do everything and anything within her power to make this wedding everything we had dreamt of it being. We ended up completely switching venues several hours before the welcome party started, and everything ended up being absolutely beautiful and unforgettable—all thanks to our amazing, kind and caring wedding planner Delaney and the wonderful, dedicated venders she had connected us with. “Summary/TLDR: We had a big wedding with a lot of complex personal decor set up and Kimberly and Travis went above and beyond! Lessen your stress and book her! Full review: My now husband and I had a big wedding at the Disneyland Hotel, and Disney does not handle any personal floral or decor, so we knew we would need help! We hired Kimberly for her full day of coordination service for things not provided by Disney, and it was one of the best decisions we made. When I first reached out, she responded quickly to let me know of her services and to set up a call. I was already pretty set on hiring her from the reviews I'd seen, but the call was also extremely helpful! After hearing about our details, she recommended a DJ for us to request from Disney, who was absolutely perfect for our wedding! In the weeks leading up to the wedding, Kimberly checked in to see how I was doing and if I needed help with anything, even though I had only hired her for the day of coordination, which was so kind and thoughtful! We had a large wedding with over 250 guests, and our bridal party was huge as well, so there were a lot of moving parts. I was pretty frantic the morning of our wedding as I had overslept with so much left to do. Kimberly was so helpful with everything - and really helped reduce and lessen my stress, which as anyone getting married would know, is priceless! Kimberly and her husband handled all of our personal items so well! Several of which had to be set up multiple times (e.g for the ceremony and then for cocktail hour or for cocktail hour and for the reception). We had multiple guestbooks, some of which had multiple parts, multiple card boxes, favors for each family that had to be set up alphabetically (150 bags), a huge memorial table full of pictures that I wanted set up in a very specific way, reserved row signs, a welcome sign, Filipino shawls for the wedding godmothers, custom bar signs, Venmo signs for the money dance etc. We also enlisted their help last minute to help guide people to their table for the reception because of the way our seating chart was set up. Some cousins were supposed to help with that but got caught up in the moment and forgot! But Kimberly and Travis handled it themselves and made sure everything went smoothly! At the end of the night, she and Travis made sure to pack up all of our personal items and bring them back to our getting ready room. Kimberly and Travis also worked seamlessly with the Disney staff and other vendors! After the reception ended, I realized I had lost track of my Disney bouquet, to which I had attached irreplaceable sentimental items, and Kimberly, who was on her way home, texted our Disney day of coordinator to help us find it in the nick of time!! If Kimberly was this fantastic with just day of service, I can't even imagine how incredible she is with full planning. I absolutely recommend her to anyone and everyone! Brides and grooms - do yourself a favor and hire Her!”

“We hired Chrissy, as our Day of Coordinator, and overall, the experience was positive. She was incredibly nice and helpful, especially when it came to managing last-minute details. Chrissy stepped in seamlessly to take over everything I spent a year planning and handling unexpected changes, ensuring that everything ran smoothly. However, one area of improvement would be the level of attention to some of our must-have moments. We would highly suggest requesting a second announcement for the cake cutting, as there was so much cake left over from a 4-tier cake and guests wanted to take some with them. About wedding planners

How much does a wedding planner cost?

On average, a full-service wedding planner can cost between $3,000 and $10,000. It depends on where you live and where you’re getting married. Planners in areas with high costs of living, like New York City and San Francisco, may charge upwards of $20,000. If you’re having a destination wedding, consider using a planner local to the area—you’ll avoid paying extra for travel, accommodations, and meals. Day-of coordinators cost less. They may have a flat fee between $1,000 and $5,000, or charge hourly. Always ask about pricing up front so nothing comes as a surprise later.

What do wedding planners do?

Think of wedding planners as jack-of-all-trades experts when it comes to weddings. Many offer different levels of service to meet your needs. If you just want day-of coordination, for example, your planner will be there to make sure your ceremony and reception go off without a hitch. This may mean setting up vendors or directing your wedding party and guests to make sure everyone is where they need to be at the right time. On the other end of the spectrum, full-service planning may involve:

Should we get a wedding planner?

Planners are great resources and can make planning your wedding much less stressful. If you’ve got the budget, a wedding planner is well worth the investment. Planners offer different service levels at varying price points. Choose the amount of help and cost that makes the most sense for you. At the bare minimum, you need someone (hired or delegated) to help manage the event day-of so you will be able to enjoy yourselves without worrying about too many logistics. If you decide to enlist a friend or family member to take on this role, keep in mind that this person will need to prioritize your needs over their own, and will no longer be attending or enjoying the wedding simply as a guest.
