“Choosing second song as our DJ service for our wedding was the best decision we could have made!! The team is so accommodating and made the process of choosing our DJ so easy. After choosing second song, they allowed us to set up phone calls to interview DJ's to find the perfect fit for us. We ended up choosing DJ Daniel Cabral. Daniel was attentive and set up multiple meetings with us prior to our wedding to discuss our vision for our wedding day. Everything ran perfectly throughout the entire day. The audio for our ceremony was perfect and the music selections throughout cocktail hour, dinner, and the reception set the mood for our wedding. We also hired a string trio through second song and they did a beautiful job at our ceremony and cocktail hour. Our reception was a party and Daniel made sure people were on the dance floor all night long. We also had my cousin play the trumpet at our reception while Daniel played a song in the background. Daniel mic'd up his trumpet for us and it was such a hit! We also got our Photo Booth through second song and they provided the uplighting at the venue! They are everything you could want from a DJ service and more!! If you are looking for a DJ service, second song is the way to go!!!!”

“One of the most important things for us was having a wedding reception where the dance floor was full and people were having a great time all night long. We were worried about finding a DJ who could pull that off, but DJ Sammy was the definition of perfection. Our pre-call with him was amazing, and we could tell he understood the vibe we were going for. We felt confident going into the night, but even our highest expectations were blown away with the way he ensured that everyone had a great time. I picked up on a few tricks of the trade he does that I’ve never seen another DJ do before, and they made a huge difference compared to other weddings I’ve been to. He even took the time to do a special cut in one of the songs we requested, which blew me away with his attention to detail. Although I’m limited to 5 stars in this review, I would literally give him every single star in every single solar system in the sky for how happy we were with his DJing services. “We hired Clockwork New England for our wedding in Holderness, NH on 8/31/25 and we were absolutely blown away. Clockwork runs such a professional, caring business, and from our first touch point to our last, we couldn't be more happy with our experience. Ron, the owner, and Patrick, the band leader, were both so attentive to our needs and questions leading up to the wedding. I felt really confident going into the day that they had everything under control and were going to make it a great day. Patrick managed our ceremony cocktail music masterfully - it was perfect. And then the reception... omg. I know I'm biased, but this band was nothing less than the greatest wedding band / cover band I have EVER HEARD. The energy! The entertainment! Our guests are still raving, 2 months after the wedding. My husband and I are big dancers, and we did not leave the dance floor once. It was packed the whole time, from start to finish; even before dinner was served people went out to dance!!! We could not have asked for a better experience on such an important day for us. Guys... when they started playing Pink Pony Club?? Or when the trumpet blasted the first couple notes to Mr. Brightside to bring us back from a band break?!? I couldn't breathe. “Summit Events was the perfect choice for our wedding entertainment! Having a fun dance floor and awesome music has been something that I have dreamed about forever. I was nervous to find the right fit and was so relieved to have found Summit Events. From the beginning, we ended up working with the DJ who would perform the night of. Chris Funkhouser (who seriously brought the funk!) was amazing to work with! During our consultations he was able to answer all our questions and concerns. He was able to put his swing on things from his experience to help provide the right vibes we were looking for. We pretty much already knew all the songs that we wanted to play so the program they used was perfect! It was detailed in the timing of the night, how long or short to play songs and any other special requests we wanted to have. On the night of the wedding, Chris was a blast -energetic, observant, and focused on keeping the dance floor alive all night long. He even joined us out there, helping to keep the party going strong! He was able to use his best judgement in placing some of the lighting and monogram details we chose which turned out great! “Have about 200 people showing up to your reception and want to guarantee that everyone from your aunts and uncles to your most particular friend all send you texts about how perfect your wedding band was? Great, you're done with your search. We worked with The Hook Club on an ambitious two-day wedding, which included them doing live sound for our Friday welcome party, live sound for the music at our ceremony, some deep cut requests, and our desire to not just have "another wedding band." What we got was an incredibly talented, creative, and kind group of people who were ready to make whatever we wanted happen, ready to add ideas and layers, and who then completely blew away our expectations. We're in that era of our lives where we've been to about 100 weddings in the last 10 years, and we can honestly say that no band has even come close to The Hook Club. A year later everyone is still talking about how great our band was. They are true professionals in every sense of the word, and you should seriously consider booking your venue around whether or not THC is available. That's not hyperbole - they were that good.”

“We were lucky enough to have DJ Ansar as our wedding DJ this past weekend, and he exceeded all expectations! I was tasked with handling the music, and initially, I gave him very little to work with—just that we liked “everything we grew up with.” Despite my vague direction, Ansar crafted the perfect vibe, playing songs that matched the energy of each moment. You could throw him something as abstract as “Malibu sunset,” and he would still nail it. Throughout the entire planning process, Ansar was incredibly easy to work with. He was always willing to jump on a call, bringing great energy and professionalism every step of the way. His MC skills are top-tier, and we had so many guests throughout the night complimenting his music selections, saying he was absolutely killing it. He has an amazing MC voice and tone, and his energy behind the mic really elevated the entire night. Even during dinner—when most weddings tend to slow down—Ansar kept the atmosphere alive with upbeat, perfectly timed tracks. Multiple guests came up to us saying, “We love this song!” He truly knows how to read the room, move seamlessly through different genres, and keep the party going without missing a beat. “Our experience working with Jamie and Ceremony DJs can be best summed up by the fact that multiple people told us after the ceremony they wanted to book him for their wedding and at least one got his business card! I can't imagine a better DJ, truly. When we first met with Jamie, he said he could make people dance to anything and would keep people on the dance floor all night, and he WAS NOT LYING. The whole night, the dance floor was PACKED even though it was rainy/muddy/cold/wet. Jamie took us on a journey that covered all of the bases of the music we love to hear and dance to, seamlessly and magically (?) integrating genres with the best mixes, it was pure wizardry and really captured who we were. We as a couple care a lot about music and wanted music that represented who we were and what we like to listen to, and he did not disappoint! So much prep work went into this, he took patience and time to try to understand our tastes and vibe, and it was so cool to have the wedding played on vinyl- basically, Jamie just "got it" from start to finish and we had the best time! Our wedding also got delayed due to rain and a road closure and he was such a good sport, staying late to keep us all dancing for a whole other hour- so fun! Also, when our ceremony musician was stuck in traffic due to the storm, he was so prepared and had our prelude/processional music downloaded so we could still walk down the aisle to the songs we'd chosen. Overall, such a cool, kind, funny guy who was professional and prepared in every way and honest just takes time to meet and know his clients, and clearly just loves to share his love of music. He provided music for the ceremony, and microphones for the officiants, and he went above and beyond in his preparation for our big day. He curated a playlist of all the songs we wanted to hear and read the crowd perfectly. I would highly recommend him for any party, not just a wedding. He was also an excellent compare.
